So much support for such an inconsistent, erratic player we took with the 5th pick.

That’s just inaccurate. He’s not HOF CP3 anymore, but all of the legit commentators (not the dipshits in their mom’s basements) are praising his play.

Just last night he had 11 assists, ZERO turnovers :o , 3 steals, 4-7 from 3…his assist/turnover ratio this season is 7.4/1.2. His shooting is off, and I’m not saying he’s approaching a career year at 38, but the Point God is still a very relevant player. That kind of efficiency, in a new role, on a new team, is pretty amazing. Wiggins & Klay have been slipping badly, although Wiggs had a game last night. Draymond, as usual, is either great or suspended, in his own particular way. Steph has been amazing but that’s why I thought GSW could be willing to make a trade for financial reasons ONLY IF anything slowed Steph…they seem really fragile, the wheels could come off. Remember, they didn’t chase CP3- they were mostly just ejecting Poole. Same thing they did with Wiggins…they dumped Russell and took in Wiggins- who then became a key piece after an underwhelming start to his career.

Maybe a trade package for CP3 and Klay?

One the side of GSW, they could be bailed out this season with quality depth plus young guns.

For the Magic, we could be real competitive with two Future Hall of Famers. One, CP3 can come in to take over the PG duty plus mentoring AB. Two, Klay is a perfect spacer for Franz and Paolo.

Plus they all have experience and leadership. Plus Klay has Championship pedigree which could help us to make the Playoff plus making a run at it.

Who is with me?

But trading who to get that done is a real problem 8-)

I want Chris Paul pretty badly. Give em Suggs, Harris, Ingles. Salary matched.

I wouldn't want to give up any of those players for CP3, especially Suggs!

I tried Fultz and WCJ on trade machine for CP3!

Warriors add a future pick in the deal :D

I'd take Podz now over a future pick, maybe even Moody but also not including Suggs or Ingles...they won't dump CP3, but if something led them to realize they're not winning this year (like a Steph injury), they might give him away for expirings and little else to free summer salary to re-sign Klay and keep it together without all of the trade restrictions and penalties in the new CBA...if they're still in it, CP3 does more for them (today) than anyone on our roster except Franz, IMO.

I think podz could be the best shooter in the draft, so heck yeah I'd take him.

We would have to beg GS to take a non-shooter like Suggs. They would probably prefer Jett, but I like Jett too much.

There's presently an open discussion as to whether he's the third best player.

What does "Cope" mean? (In this context of course)

I don’t know but I love Suggs.

Anyone else notice Suggs’ improved handle against pressure? It’s been one of the nicest surprises of the season to me.

I also appreciate that when he wants to go "full Suggs" he can do that on a 1 on 4 fast break and most of the team is still back ready to defend if things go badly. 8-)

I would love it if Suggs can destroy the Raptors tomorrow :D he usually plays well against them. Averaging 20-3.3-5 in 29.4 mpg on 62% TS for his career (3 games)

What does it matter if we took him at 5 or 35 at this point? He's on our team, he's young, and he's a very good defender whose offense is getting better. A better question is why isn't there more support? He's good already.
