I remember Jaylen Brown having a 3rd year slump, and he didn't get a max extension.

We've been noticing him all season. He gets prime tickets even to the away games.

That would definitely be a bargain. There's no way Franz doesn't improve his shot and develop a midrange game long-term.

Don't know the girl. Met him several times. I forgot the name, could find it again easily enough though. Yes, he is a lawyer. I am glad after everything that has happened he is still around. He had some health for a while if I recall correctly.

The traveling part makes me think he has retired but not sure.

Man is it me or does our staring line up get in a hole often and our second unit bails us out.

It’s a problem

Makes sense. But i think that improves over time and experience.

Let's not get crazy about that.

Brown "didn't sign max" but signed 4 years , $112M exstension

Jamal Murray signed 5 years , $168M deal

Average salary of Brown's contract was $28M

Average salary of Murray's contract was $33,5

Difference in value ($5,5M a year) was execlly enough to get you some Jonathan Simmons ( or Baynes).

What worked against Boston was lenght of a contract, since he made all nba team, he become allegiable for supermax and signed one, making him highest payed player in history.

So yea, i don't really think there is reason to play dumb about Franz's exstension. If he wants a max, get him one. If money isn't that important to him, don't give him one, but don't break relationships for money value of 15th man in rotation.
In both cases you should aim for 5 years lenght.

There is one interesting thing about our starting 5 of Harris- Suggs- Franz-Banchero- Wendell Carter

they have net rating of +13,5

But split is kind a funny.
At home that lineup has +25,9 net rating
On the road they have 0 net rating

Problem with 5 men lineups in general is strenght of opponents, so i would need better data than nba.com to get better look at what's going on.
That said, it's not really hard to figure mentioned starting 5 lacks playmaking from guard positions.

What did he do last summer to lose it?

They tinkered with his release. They should’ve just left it alone. Isaac has a long windup, and it's working out for him. When you're 6'10"+ I don't think you have to have a quick release to get your shot off.

NBA Power rankings keeps us at number 14...last week we were #15. They always have teams with worse record than Orlando in front of us (for example Miami is in front of us)...

Looks like somebody who writes the NBA Power ranking stuff is not watching the actual games...

It's just one guy's opinion. Don't care too much. They also owned us in the season and have a cupcake schedule potentially coming up even if we're a better team currently.
