I was so disappointed when the Laker chose him, that is when I stopped watching the draft, lol. I think he would have been a great fit for the Magic. But I think the Magic would have taken TDS even if Dalton was still on the board.

Yeah, I have no doubt Weltman would have taken TDS if they were both on the board too. I didn’t think Knecht had a chance of falling out of the lottery and was hoping we would take him as he kept dropping. I actually like TDS and think he’s a better overall player from a skill set position but I believe Knecht could have been the shooter we needed. We’ll see how it all plays out.

I completely agree with this post. I was completely shocked that Dalton fell out of the lottery. I feel like many will regret passing on him. And completely agree, TDS is a far better all around, complete player. However, Dalton is just a dead eye shooter. I would have chosen Dalton but they would likely chose TDS.

I just don't get the Knecht stuff at all.

The Magic already have Jett who doesn't even have a guaranteed rotation spot right now.

Unless you folks think Knecht is way better than Jett...

Preseason overreactions

Entering 2022-23 season, 3 out of 5 top scorers from preseason didn't get nba contrats.

People simply don't understand what preseason means to some fringe players vs what it means to serious nba vets.
Vets just want to get it over with, fringe players play like it's game 7 of finals.

For vet it's just glorified practice that happends to be brodcasted live and you just hope you won't have to run too much

He was projected a top 10 pick, so yeah I was shocked he fell to #17. More annoyed he dropped to the Lakers because bad teams focus on high upside youth over skill sets.

I agree with you both. I don’t think he was ever on Orlando’s radar because they have Jett and were keen on adding a KCP type vet. There were way too many key factors leading them to TDS in my opinion.

I'm most intrigued by :
Stephon Castle - very few 19 yeras old are that crafty and know how to play on and off ball. Guy has those little guard tricks like he is 5'9, instad , he is 6'6.

Tidjane Salaün - people mocked him as prospect before draft, he just turned 19. Guy is mistery box

Kel'el Ware - young, long, solid shotblockers, some shooting potential. But all that mixed with Spo is what makes him interesting to me.

I really hated Ron Holland's game in G league and he went to second biggest NBA mess of a team. Good luck with that. Pistons have incredible ability of turning good prospects into s**t. They still somehow hold Ivey & Cade hostages of their incompetence despite fact both players are very talented.

Is it Bally again for Orlando local fans?

Is there an alternative?

100% in on Castle…especially with a season or two of watching equally fierce CP3 at PG. I would have loved to find a way to get him and plug him into the KCP slot, next to Suggs

Was just looking for an answer. I'm not seeing any way to view the game on Wednesday locally.

It’s terrible

We live in Orlando and I have YouTube TV and what seems like 100 streaming apps

And I still can’t watch the game without paying an additional $20 a month for Bally

Nonsense

Exactly...I guess I'll break down soon enough but I just curse it every game. Bally's alleged bankruptcy was good news (I thought). What happened to the talk about Prime carrying ORL games?

I remember watching rookie Haliburton and drooling over him and his ability to move, even at SG that guy was so damn smooth , Castle is different type of player but i just love his game,at least parts i've seen so far.
I will keep eye on him, Spurs should be one of most interesting teams to watch anyway with Vassell- Vemby- Castle trio, at helm of Pop and CP3.

Can I be honest? I don’t care who are our two-way players.

It did have some meaning seasons ago but something majorly from injuries has gone wrong if they get any minutes. Also, this team will be hurting if that’s the case.

Bally Sports is being rebranded as ‘FanDuel’. Not sure on the details of other changes but it looks like the app will just be rebranded and the cost/subscription will stay the same. I hope that’s not the case but let’s be honest, it’s the easiest way to transition so I expect it. The app still sucks btw.
