OKC is after Boston second best team in nba.

Like I said before the draft Chets gonna be a top 3 defender and top 10 impact player for the next decade.
Meanwhile in Houston Jabari still can't dribble and looks like a poor man's version of Keegan Murray.

Weeks before that draft i was losing my mind on this forum telling people who had "Durant" comparison that Jabari is stationary 3 point shooter and nothing more. But nop "Chet is skinny" counter arguments.

Most hilarious part about his game is fact that he is not even all that amazing shooter like he was sold to be, nor amazing defender.

He is stuck somewhere in between ******y Lauri Markanen and rich man's Damjan Rudež.

Denver is just looking very weak outside of Jokic. They have never been a defensive team, and they literally have nobody to go to when Joker is on the bench. I hope they make some trades. Saric as backup 5 is a joke. Westbrook is terrible.

OKC didn't play all that well and still won comfortably. They just seem so small. 4 guys around 6'5 and Chet, who weighs as much as a PG and spends most of his time on the floor after getting a minor bump. I don't see anyone else coming out of the west though. Denver is weaker. Minny is weaker. PHX, if they manage to put it all together this season could be the only threat.

I conclude BOS will win fairly easily again this season.

EDIT: Forgot about Dallas. They could be a threat again to come out west again. But none of these teams seem very capable of beating Boston.

Unfortunately until a team gets really really hot in the East you are correct. BOS should have both the better record and the advantage against any West team in the playoffs.

If Boston stays healthy they are the team to beat easily. But health is not something you can predict.

I mean... they were already really good (and young) and then added two really solid pieces... not sure how you thought they would get worse.
Because we can be the only good young team, obvs. But oh well.

They're not healthy. They're missing a starter for a couple of months. Though it's true, a team can always get less healthy.

They have some talent advantage in the SL, but they are also considerably smaller. And our bench is better IMO.

Some lucky team has their pick this year protected 1-5!!

Where does this OKC slander comes from?
They won 57 games last year.
They were up by 1 vs Dallas in game 6 and lost to questionable call 2.5 sec before end.

"They are small" - well it's 2024 not 1986 it's not like you have Kareem, Hakeem to deal with.

Also Denver losing to them doesn't mean they are now 30 wins team. They have best player in the world and that will be enough for 48-50 wins, execlly how it was case in past 7 years since he broke as one of best bigs.

What's up with Haliburton? He looks like his less talented twin brother for a long time now.

Trae is just worlds better than Murray, despite the defense (and Murray is probably one of the most overrated defenders in the leaque anyway).

Personally? I root for their demise. Lots of conflicting agendas. Chet/JWill vs Paolo, good young cores, good young coaches, etc.

But alas, I'm going to just have to accept they are really damn good.
