Cole had 11 assists in Toronto, but a lot of them were either very simple passes for open 3s or the scorer had to make a special move or two before sinking their shot. Didn’t have much to do with creation/playmaking.

Cole overall really wasn’t good again and it showed in the fourth right until he thankfully went on that 4-point flurry.
He’s got to find a way to bring some good consistency on this back-to-back.

When a consistent Cole shows up, he is great, but this output is so rare nowadays. Would love to trade for a guy who was a far more consistent as a 6th man, would do wonders for this team.

He’s such a lovable guy that you root for him…but then he dribbles off his foot and you remember. Then he dunks on an All-Star’s head. Then he passes to the guy selling popcorn. Then he pulls up for a critical 3. Then…

It’s as unreliable as counting on WCJ or Harris’ availability. We’re past the point of making excuses for any of these guys. Some of them, specifically Cole, might flourish elsewhere…that’s fine. We need more. The better teams just don’t allow for these kind of vulnerabilities. I understand that Cole wasn’t even in the rotation until all the injuries, but there are still opportunities to improve that spot…and we should. No matter how good Paolo and Franz are becoming…we need to lighten our dependency on them every night. They are absolutely not a reason to not upgrade the backcourt offense.

I’m loving these miracle wins. I’m also tired of ORL wins being miracle upsets.

There was smoke they were shopping Cole. I'm sure this recent play is slightly boosting his trade value.

This franchise doesn't deserve Cole. The way they put bums like Fultz and Black ahead of him in the rotation for no **** reason, there's no excuse.

He has played much better lately and deserves credit for this, even his playmaking and defence have looked decent of late. He will still get targeted by other teams as by far the smallest defender in our typical giant lineups, but he competes on that end and makes fewer mistakes.

I'd still trade him if we can get something decent for him, but if he stays for now, I can live with it.

He is never consistent. Will propably return to negative as soon as deadline ends.

that is what i'm expecting because that's what he's been his entire career, streaky.....you can't have a key rotation player who is inconsistent

Comon, guys. Cole has been doing his thing lately. Clear cut starter with Jalen out is Cole, not AB. Heck, I am a huge AB fan but I still do think Cole should be the starter. Large part of the reason is the fit, AB with Franz and Paolo is 3&D. Cole at least can provide some shooting and ball handling. An aggressive Cole, you better watch out. Cole is a bucket getter and that is his job. He has been playing fine. Let me say this: This Orlando Magic team needs Cole to be successful in the playoff. That is it

He's hot now but given his history it almost certainly won't last. I feel comfortable saying I don't believe Cole we ever be the consistent player we need and the sooner our front office admits that and moves off him the better.
