he's getting paid $2,446,200 this year... Q is not the problem.

I agree 100%. He isn't someone you dump, he's on a reasonable contract and is a solid 3rd or 4th guy off the bench on a contending team.

I love Q's toughness. I don't understand why he camps out at the 3 point line tho, the guy is arguably our second best post up player so get him the ball down low.

How about this trade?

Orlando gets: Nash+Jackson+Lopez

Milwaukee gets: Hedo+Warrick

Phoenix gets: Udrih+Redick+Harper+Orton

PG-Nash/Jameer/Ish
SG-JRich/Wafer
SF-Sjackson/QRich
PF-Anderson/BBD
C-Dwight/Lopex

Looks pretty good to me

I'm sorry man the more i think about it the more angry i get.....It's time to admit we made a mistake and get Big Baby the hell out of here.....It's been long enough so you can get a good look at his sample size and what he brings to the table...For me at this point he's a waste of money and a detriment to the team....He's taking away minutes from Anderson....He's taking away minutes from Clark and hell maybe even Harper lol.......he is not giving us what we would want out of a PF....inconsistent defensively....atrocious offensively.....don't know how Otis can justify this one except trying to keep Dwight happy but it doesn't work out on the court......

I'm so done with Big baby...i honestly believe Ryan would average 20 and 10 if he didn't have to sit for 9 minutes every game just to balance out Baby's minutes.....you can plug Clark or even Harper in at Baby's spot and they can at least give you what Glen is giving you....he's turned into a scrub here....maybe it's the Stan effect or maybe he was always a scrub since Boston......

Is anyone convinced as much as I am that Nash is going to be here by the deadline?

I mean it seems like the perfect and obvious fit.

I'm not, unfortunately.

He and Phoenix seem to be playing chicken with each other, and I doubt either will blink.

Like, why the hell do they both keep releasing statements about it?

Nash is one of the most loyal NBA players & a true pro. Doubt he requests a trade & doesn't sound like PHX will trade him unless he does.

Blame no one but Otis. When i heard about his reluctance to include jameer in a CP3 trade, i knew his man-crush on #14 would be the demise of himself and the team. Yes, that was no typo; Otis didn't want to give up Jameer for Chris Paul 2 yrs ago.

What I wouldnt give for that...

At this point, If getting nash makes dwight pick up his player option, than I would give ryan, meer and 2 1st round picks for nash/lopez

On my way out to LA I stopped in Pheonix for 2 nights. Steve Nash's face is on absolutly everything. He is probably the most loved sports figure by their city in the country. The people would freak out if he was traded IMO

Otis is a dumb-ass pardon my french....so many screw-ups....Signed Vince at 32 after Otis said he was fool's gold when Vince wanted to come here at 28.....offered Lewis 118 when we could of gotten him for 90....Amnestied Arenas only to negate that by signing Large Baby...Drafted Travis Diener instead of Monta Ellis lol....Otis really screwed us didn't he?

I don't know, a lot of them actually want him to get traded so they can see him win a championship somewhere else.

^ I have no problem with the Carter NJ trade..... Ryno has more value than Courtney now, and Rafer went AWOL.

PHX trade is the problem.

Since we gave THEM the best player last time, maybe, they do us a favor and give Nash to a team that could win a chip with his services... US! a lot of their fans would like for him to win at least one, we can give him that chance.

I hated it from the beginning and still think we should have never made the Carter trade. How many teams that make it to the finals blow it up like that? Fix the small issues you have and go at it again the next season, don't go off and trade half the major contributors or let them walk.

This is a bunch of BS, the only reason we got to the Finals in 2009 was because KG was hurt. Besides, Hedo was going to mail it in with his new contract whether in Orlando or anywhere. Otis was smart to recognize that and got a better asset, however he turned that asset into....Hedo on a terrible contract.

Really? So I guess beating the Cleveland Cavaliers didn't mean anything in that playoff run. Or was Lebron hurt in that series also. Sure the path was made easier for the Magic to make it to finals, but they still had to play the best team in the NBA that year(no home court) to get there...

I guess Jackson was pulling a Howard in Orlando, lol.

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baske ... -1.1025494

“(Howard and Williams) is a championship contending team right there,” Jackson said after playing just eight minutes in Milwaukee’s 92-85 victory over the Nets Sunday night at the Rock in Newark. “Of course I’d want to play on that team.

“No disrespect to the guys (on the Bucks), but I’m at the stage of my career where I want to be in a different situation.
