Throwin' this out there, I like JJ but you guys act like he is untradeable. I realize the fans like him and all, but people never want to trade him for anything

I agree, people prefer to trade D12 than JJ.

Compared to brockmans 27%?.... gee I have no idea....and why does everyone blow everything i say out of proportion? Me "I think Beasley would really help this team offensively" response: "Why does everyone think Michael Beasley is our savior"

I'm not high on either of those guys why does everyone pretend Brockman is some super offensive rebounding machine? He avgs 1 per game. I can understand people overrating him since we played them a bunch of times this year if he had good games. but he didn't..He sucked.

Sorry, I'm being super arugmentative....I've had a bad day at work and Im stuck in stank ass Alaska for at least the next year.

Yes, Brockman is a high energy player but I dont think overall he has the skill set Baby does. I think he'd be a liability offensively and I dont think he's as good a defender.

Nick Young is one of those guys who can create a shot for himself... but I'm not a fan of his game tbh

houston wants gasol because they want more hispanics in the toyota center. they had the taste of it with yao ming with chinese* and they want more of the same.

most franchises have motivations other than winning, the grandest of it being making profits. only a few teams - including the magic - want to win at all costs.

* houston has a really really huge chinese community.

Houston does have a large Hispanic population.........I don't know though.....

But, if there were a way where we could (if we had to) facilitate some 3-way where Dwight went to LA, Gasol to HOU, and Lowry+Bynum to ORL (a lot of missing pieces in there to fill out), that wouldn't be so bad.

The Rockets do know that Spaniards aren't Hispanic right?! They are Spanish. And the two groups are very different and don't consider one the other. You call a Spaniard Hispanic and you instantly have issues with that person.

Guys,

What about:

Hedo
Orton
Wafer
First
Second
Cash

For

Gerald Wallace
Wes Matthews

Why for us? We get 2 solid defenders and offensive slashers. Rid ourselves of Hedo without too much issue. We DO take on two pretty large contracts.

Why for Portland? They get Hedo (Who apparently they wanted) Rid themselves of TWO contracts/players they don't want. Pick up 2 small expirings and some extras.

We would still have assets in Anderso,Redick and our exception to try and pick up a backup big or defensive PG.

Both Brockman and BBD sucks.....they're both undersized and NOT the answer at backup Center....i've seen enough of undersized players like Bass and BBD on our team getting shot over offensively because they're too short and losing out to taller players on rebounds....also they both got blocked often when they attacked the rim...Bass to a lesser extent

really? i thought salma hayek and penelope cruz were sisters.

the worse is to think you know, but you do not. "straight logic" does not get you as far as you think it does when it comes to social dynamics

Why does Hollinger think that's such a great trade for us? We get nothing we need except another midget pg.
