woj:The Redick deal is part of a three-way trade with Charlotte. As @SpearsNBAYahoo reported, Hakim Warrick goes to Magic for Josh McRoberts.

Harris is better than anyone in that 19ish draft range this year. they wouldn't trade a future pick in a deep draft next year for someone they might not be returning. I like the deal.

The good news is we're guaranteed to be the worst in the league next season, too. That's two shots at the best pick in the draft.

Stepping back from the disappointment of no picks, it's not a bad trade. We upgraded our set of assets. Harris, Lamb, Udrih, and Warrick all more coveted than Ayon, Ish, and McRoberts. JJ for Udrih was a lateral move considering both expire and would have walked.

I still don't get the big deal about picks. We got two guys who were recently draft picks.

Non-lottery picks typically equal starter at best. We now have 7Mil expiring and two young prospects (i.e. - equivalent to lottery picks in a supposedly bad draft). I wish Redick wasn't traded, but I understand why it had to happen.
