On a team most of us predict will win no more than 24 games! Why not look for the positives as well? Because your mind is already made up. Everybody loves Hennigan's decisions so much but can't accept his hiring of JV. Just give the man a chance FFS.

Were all crucifying him for his rotations and lineup. I don't see anyone complaining about anything else.

I've heard that Vaughn is a terrible coach, he doesn't care, he just smiles and laughs on the sidelines, only here for the "tank", can't wait until we get a "real" coach. Can't wait until SVG comes back lol. Gimme a break. As if SVG's rotations and stagnant offense weren't just as maligned as every other coach we've had. You all just miss his post game press conferences where he would just go in on everybody. I liked SVG too, but his whiny nature and negativity outstayed it's welcome.

Guys played hard and competed. Almost every young guy showed me something I liked.

Exactly, he is a second year coach with a core of players in the EARLY twenties. Everyone is still learning. This is a freakin process it will take a few years.

Missed the game but was going to post in the other thread that given 30MPG, Nicholson would put up 18 and 6 on a nightly basis. I didn't because I figured he wouldn't see playing time. Typical he'll lose minutes to another vet in Maxiell, who I dont not like, but he's wasting minutes IMO. Glad to see Afflalo still chucks.

I also have a mental tip for getting through the season, got me through last year with a smile on my face. Flip the win loss column. Treat losses like wins. Rejoice when we compete but still come away with the tight loss. Overtime losses are the pinnacle of success!

Yep, patience is important for a team like ours. Henny and Vaughn have both repeated constantly that this is a process and that fans need to be patient if they wanna make it back to the finals.

With the team still in the rebuilding mode, we're going to be hard pressed to find a steady rotation. I still think it's too early for JV to come up with a definite rotation.

Also for the people wanting Stan back, he is a terrible motivator and in a situation like we are in now with all the young talent you have to be good at motivating. Plus he hardly ever played rookies and second year players. Y'all would be in for a treat if he was here.

he played Courtney Lee as a rookie. Played Ryan Anderson a fair amount as a 2nd year player. He didnt really have too many other rookies or 2nd year players as Otis traded all sorts of picks away

I missed it, please recap!!

Demonstrably false. Last 7 points scored with Scola out/West in.

I don't think anyone would want Stan coaching our current team. It would be pointless. On a rising/playoff bound team, would you rather have JV or Stan? Btw Lee played pretty big minutes for us and that JJ fella turned out pretty darn good.

I'll give JV a few years before I make that decision.

How would we know how well Vaughn would coach a contender if we've never seen him coach one?

I dont understand why everyone is so happy about tanking for Wiggins in here. All the scouts are now reporting that outside being really athletic, he is no next LeBron. We have to develop the talent we have now, because it looks like there is no guarantee that a superstar is coming out of the draft.

Having a top 5 pick in this year's draft is a most in our rebuilding process.

I would not want to imagine if he was given a contender to coach, come on you have seen enough of him to form an opinion. I'm always for giving people the benefit of the doubt and yes it is early as I expect him (and hope) he becomes better, but from what I've seen, I would chose SVG. Man some people have already forgotten how great he was. Anyhow, this is my opinion, you know what they say about opinions.

Apparently you did not get the memo he publicly said he will not pursue any coaching gigs and/or may not ever coach again. So there's that.

Loved the effort by the team tonight as far as it went with hard work... Just a superior team just pulled away when it mattered.

Like what I saw from Andrew... Dude has improved his shooting it seems like.
