This so reminds of the days on this board right around the time we were about to trade TMac.

I must say you are all doing a much better job not turning on each other.

Back in those days the insults were BRUTAL.

Silver lining? Four years later we were in the finals and TMac was a bust and eventual loser with the Rockets.

Otis isn't the bad guy. Otis just isn't a very good gm, and has made some bad moves but at least he made some....he took a swing and missed.

A Federal Pound-Me-In-The-Ass Prison? I like it. Now, what crime can we frame him for?
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Whether the Wojnarowski report is true or not, I feel really bad for you guys having to go through this and I really hope you get to keep Dwight somehow.

Woj is a huge Nets homer -- has been for a long time -- so maybe take his report with a grain of salt? Not sure. I definitely know that Woj carries the Nets' water in a serious way. He did his best to steer Melo there too.

All things equal, if he does insist on going, then send him for Bynum, get him out of the conference, and disrupt the Nets and their weak attempts to steal a franchise player. Bynum will put up big numbers and if he stays healthy, could be a big force for years. He's got a nasty edge to him and something to prove. You can build around him. Just my two cents.

Stay strong and hope for the best.

Otis Smith wants to trade Dwight Howard, but ownership isn't ready. "Otis has two days to persuade ownership to trade Dwight," said source.

GET R DONE OTIS!

IN OTIS I TRUST

Woj mentioned that SVG and Otis both want this over but Martins and Ownership don't want to trade.

I'm on SVG and Otis side here but I'm just not sure if they have enough power to influence their bosses.

I hope Im wrong...

I think by the time this is all over we will wonder what drug everyone was on why we didn't jump on the Bynum and Gasol option. Nets are trash as a trade partner.

Melo and Chandler for Dwight? :D

A few weeks ago I would have said no but now, I'd be tempted. Talk to Dwight and get him to say yes to Manhattan instead of Brooklyn and then we'll circle back together? :)

Would be funny if Otis was the source of all these "ruse" rumors... wants to trade Dwight, so he doesn't get fired in the summer.

iggyemu is that you?

What's great is back then we had TMac fans who weren't really Magic fans, but now for whatever reason we don't have all these Dwight homers around here for whom he can do no wrong.

I root for franchises - go ahead and leave if you want Dwight - Magic will be back and soon
