I actually said that a few weeks ago, and I could see it happening. Id be happy because we could just cut Webster and save money immediately

This would be another win trade for us. If we're planning to make a big splash this offseason, via FA, this trade is no brainer because of the instant cap relief. However, if 2013 is set in stone as the goal, I'd rather get Darko for 1 year rental. I'd like to see two shot blockers defend Miami.

Webster would be a nice acquisition 2 years ago, but weren't there reports that we saying that the back injury Martell had prior to being traded to Minnesota would affect his career?

no one cares about the player. this is strictly a cap-saving move.

He's damaged goods. Still, though, only 25 and we'd have him on a one year trial basis. Wouldn't be the worst backup to Redick, especially if we keep Dwight and our inside-out offense.

that deal would be purely a salary dump, I am sure everybody here thinks JJ can produce at least what JRich does starting most likely better in every statistical category.

Gonna be upset if we use JJ with our pick to only move up 4 or 5 positions....I really think that's a misuse of our limited assets at this point. Now if we can package him with the #19 for a top 10 pick that's probably another story, depending on whose available (although I highly doubt that's possible).

I would love to see us somehow end up with MKG...if he slips all the way to 5 (or later) he's gonna be an absolute steal. Not sure (outside of Dwight) how we could even possibly get that high. I guess I would be satisfied if we were somehow able to deal the rot that was formerly known as Jason Richardson and just took the BPA at #19.

Wow..that would be a really......boring. After all the speculation threads and thousands of posts and predictions that we made, if all Rob does is move jrich + #19 for webster just to waive him..not only would i think that's a stupid move this board would riot.

Why would Orlando need to move jrich AND the 19th pick for a banged up Webster? That's way too much.
