Don't sleep on Bacon. Until PT is earned by rookies, I think the bench is:

MCW
Ross
Bacon
Aminu
Bamba*

And thats not bad. Hopefully, like Fultz showed early, the kids get PT quickly.

Hawks have cleared Orlando in terms of playoff hope. They add Rondo Dunn Bogdanovic & Galo to that already solid young core.

I support their moves towards obvious improvement...but many here would crap on it as it doesn’t make them contenders, therefore, they should tank.

ORL still could be better than them but I do salute their moves. Washington, if Wall is healthy, is a bigger threat, IMO. Glad to see the East is getting stronger.

If Orlando had a player with the ceiling of Trae Young right now, I can guarantee you that nobody (outside of pepe) would be crapping on any of those moves. Atlanta is surrounding their potential top 15 player with the perfect mix of young talent/vets who will only help him reach his ultimate ceiling.

You literally can't even remotely compare the two situations. Trae Young, && even John Collins (though I'm lower on him then most), puts them in another stratosphere as us.

Send AG, Fultz and Aminu for Westbrook and we are immediately relevant. Perhaps more than relevant if Okeke and Cole are solid. Evan, perhaps, falls in line as the clear #3 and self-actualizes as a taller JJ Reddick , just feasting on spot-up 3’s. Vuc and Russ both likely All-Stars in East. TRoss & Anthony lead a dynamic bench with Bamba...Isaac returns in a year

Westbrook, Anthony, MCW
Fournier, TRoss
Ennis, Bacon
Okeke, Clark
Vucevic, Bamba, Birch

Would require this FO to actually do something outside the box. Something that they haven’t shown or even mentioned they’d do. The like this team rofl

So how screwed is this team with the moves the hawks made so far??? Lol
They are literally gonan finish the season in 9th and pick 13-14 and do it all over again. Is this real life??

For shirst sake I wish the front office and ownership would see what is going on here this cant be that hard to figure out, can it? I'm baffled

Funny, a year ago people like you were posting this:

Who know who is not in the running for Cole Anthony next season?

The Lakers, Clippers, Nets, Bucks, and the Magic lol.

And we ended up with Cole

I never said I wanted Cole.
And Cole will be a nice backup PG in the league at best. If you enjoy treadmill, garbage no future team, be my guest.
Orlando Magic are BACK!!!

I agree that Okeke needs to earn his playing time over Bacon. And that Anthony starts the season as the 3rd string PG.

Relevant, but that’s not a great supporting cast or deep bench at all. I’d say this team is a first/ maybe second round playoff team at most. If we acquired 32 yo Westbrook the FO would need to pull a lot more strings to make it worthwhile.

Fournier is that last of Henny's contacts. Next year this team is 100% on Weham, besides the 5.6m we're still paying Mozgov next season.

No one has see Okeke with a basketball in 21 months. I'm starting to worry.

Who knows? I was searching players instagrams to get a clip of him practicing but nothing. On Tross' Instagram you can see Cole, Vuc, Fultz, Mo, but no Chuma.

Hopefully it's another example of the lack of any hype by the front office. The same with Fultz last year.

I’d much rather be working on our bench than continue with our very deep, very mediocre team and dreaming of drafting a star someday

If the Magic miss the playoffs, they’ll be drafting in the top 10.

The West is significantly better than the East and I wouldn’t be surprised if 4 or even 5 non playoff teams in the West have better records than the 9 seed in the East.

Yeah, he just needed to have a terrible freshman college season for us to land him. Good thing he dropped his way to 15.

That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that people keep clamoring for these high schoolers and saying "we need to tank for this kid, he's a special talent that can turn this franchise around." When that same exact person falls down the draft and we pick him, they claim to have never wanted him and are mad that we picked him. Cade Cunningham is the new darling that we should tank for, but if he fails at college, everyone will flip again. It's just a bit annoying really.

Or busting a nut over that Scrubb kid over videos of him owning people at some no name community college. I mean I'll admit I wasn't a fan of Coles style of play but he's a heady competitor, aggressive and he can score. I'll wait to see what he does with NBA spacing and talent, and that may not happen until later in the season or next.

Great, inspiring story about Bamba's work ethic and drive.... Im hoping he has a big year for us but while this is meant as kind of a roast its a little concerning. Look at Cole's face when TRoss is telling his story.
