Regarding your search for a comparison and since I'm from germany:
what about:
Detlef Schrempf?
(this at least stat wise would fit)

Hallo! It's not a bad comparison at all, possible one of the most accurate ones. Actually Greg Anthony mentioned Schrempf (former teammate) as a fair one on Orlando magic's UK podcast last week.

Looking at my list of lanky wings of European descent… I think we’ve almost compared em all.

Detlef was part of at three 60 win teams. He could have probably put up more stats if he wasn't a team first player.

Seeing Franz so high really caught me by surprise.

The Timberwolves were surprised too.

To be fair, Wagner looks to be well in the 6'12" to 6'13" range.
(( I look forward to seeing him next to Isaac to see if Wagner is a legit 6'13" ))

He's still been playing guard-forward. Paul George is tall but he isn't a power forward. Kevin Durant is 7'. Bigs have different body types.

The Boogeyman averaging 22 PPG and 7 RPG over they last 3 games.

Not sure if a good nickname for Franz would be The Boogeyman or The Boogieman, since Franz uses Franzboogie?

Franz reminds me of young Giannis Adetokoubo. Giannis was 205lbs when he was drafted. Franz is 220lbs. They both play the same style( Franz may be less Athleticism with little better shooting). They both were drafted by Jeff Weltman and John. They were both listed at 6’10. Interesting….

games not the same style. Giannis was a very good ball handler but could hit the back of a toilet shooting. he could shoot at the rim, though actually had his best 3pt % on very low volume (and low pressure as he wasnt defended much). Franz is respectable shooter from distance. I dont see the same style from them.

moreso out of necessity than anything else imo but i love seeing it...i'm very excited that he's this good in year 1, i don't think it's a stretch for me to say he's already better than AG was for us lol.....We all see the second year jump cole is making, if Franz can make a second year jump anywhere near that...it's going to be scary

Best rookie we've had since Dwight? Seems like a pretty safe statement.
