I agree his rotations need some tweeking. Collison licks his chops as soon as he sees Chris step on the floor.

I wonder why Stan prefers Duhon so much?

Does Ish really not know the system so much that he would be worse than someone who just flat out sucks?

What other play would you draw up with 2.2 secs left?

Honestly I thought he meant the jameer iso but with 2.2 seconds, and the pacers guarding the perimeter to avoid a three, that could be a great opportunity for a backdoor cut like he did with the courtney lee layup and like brian hill did twice, especially with the way he saw the pacers defend the first time.

You have hedo making the pass, davis near the three point line setting the screen, first you bait jameer as the reciever of the pass knowing the pacers can tell its a bait, next you send redick as the bait with pacers thinking its a the real reciever, and at the same time with the pacers concentrated on the three point line you send J rich to the rim for an alley hoop/lay up.
If that doesnt work you still have jameer or redick to create a desperation three, which could at least win us the game and have about as much chance to go in as that turnaround that davis threw up.

That's the only other option I think he could have gone with, but when you have 2 guys setting a screen for a ball handler, one guy in bounding, it doesn't leave many options of guys to free up another player to get to the basket. With 2.2 secs, you got to commit to the 3 or 2. At the end of the day, Pacers had length to switch on everything. Any shot we got was going to be contested.

Yup, it will be a shame if we make changes like that and win G5. Pacers have 3 chances to close it out... that's impossible for this squad no matter what changes we make at this point.

Game thread on Pacers' board didn't even make it to page 2.

This. I really hope Stan is questioned about why he continues to play when he provides nothing positive to the team.

Who was the sensitive guy?

I wonder if Stuff and Duhon practice their dance moves together?

Duhon has that energy sucking ability to even affect our mascot. If Rogue's face was lit by a flamethrower, she would look like Duhon so that's who I'm going to compare him to.

@j-Ragg.....i just said we needed penetration...in that stretch where we couldn't score for like 6 minutes we got no penetration which had us taking contested shots.....no one said attack the rim to score...i just mean penetrate to open up better looks.....if we put Ish and Wafer in that stretch we might have had better penetration with their Speed and Athleticism.....might have gotten a basket or two to help us win this game but.....

maybe i'm wrong but i would think that if i can see an adjustment like that you would like a millionaire coach would....but....whatever...i'm tired of making excuses for Stan....i've stopped blaming the roster months ago...we have who we have....you have to make it work....Maybe it's because we've had little practice time but little adjustments like not playing Q and Duhon is something any coach would of done 2 games ago.....

SVG took Davis out and put in all shooters in a 2pt game at the end of OT. Davis looked pretty upset and surprised. I mean really, even if he's not there to shoot, he should be in there to run interference with his big body. Indiana stopped the play from developing and SVG put Davis back in.

BBD was nearly in tears on the bench on the last play. We couldn't inbound it, so Stan changed the play and brought him back in to win the game.

Veteran Presence

Means Duhon gets playing time even if he turns the ball over in ridiculous fashion.
