Wow..that would be a really......boring. After all the speculation threads and thousands of posts and predictions that we made, if all Rob does is move jrich + #19 for webster just to waive him..not only would i think that's a stupid move this board would riot.
Why would Orlando need to move jrich AND the 19th pick for a banged up Webster? That's way too much.
to cut salary

^^^ I would like to think we could trade them JRich for Webster straight up as they can then flip KMarts expiring in a deal for IGGY/Gay/etc..... and still have 2 shooting guards on the roster with Clee and JRich

Minny has Webster
Hou has KMart
You're confusing the teams and their players.

what incentive does Minny have with just J-rich? ya they want a proven veteran sg but you think they really want to pay that contract without getting some incentive in return?

It was started by the good doctor (dr3), who unfortunately hasn't graced us with his presence lately.

edit-Evan Dunlap @BQRMagic
In a chat, Steve Kyler says he's hearing the Magic will trade their first-rounder (19th overall) http://www.hoopsworld.com/nba-rumors-ch ... yler-62812
Frank
Any idea who the Magic might be targeting in the draft?
Steve Kyler
Keep hearing they are moving the #19, so don’t fall in love.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XXVIII: Offseason Editi
My draft prediction: we trade the 19th.
I don't think we'll keep it. I think we try to package it with Duhon, J-Rich, or Hedo to shed salary. OKC wasn't impressed by anything in the draft at their pick in the late first round and were thinking about moving it. Rob ran their scouting and I wonder if he's not impressed by anything at 19 either. He fired everyone who worked on our draft process for the past month, eliminating their research altogether. I think Rob is going try to move this pick either to land a veteran player to build the team with or to just shed salary.

seriously? the NES couldn't pump out pixels that small... and the mumbled audio isnt needed. The zelda words typing out sound would have been enough. But it was funny, kinda.

If the Magic could resign Hedo for $6-7 mil per year, that would be a good deal. Then, they have the SF position locked up for years.

IMO, Hedo is moving to the bench next year. Athleticism starting on the wing, and Hedo off the bench.
