Liggins/Clark/Harper/Orton? Every team in the NBA has something like this.

Its a young core, but not a good one.

Well if you seen him play overseas then you would know the kid has a lot of talent....He was practically an All-Star over there

Another SG? No, thanks.
magicfan84 wrote:^ we already have way to many 2-3 players as it is and were also hoping Liggins can be that type of player, plus Stevenson left on not the greatest of terms quite a few years back

I don't know about his history with the Magic but depth was never a problem with Dallas either until we were hit with injuries. He is a great bench player, not complaining about PT at all. I like him a lot for that and the way he approaches the game. I think he can get under the skin of people.

Plus he won the championship and knows what it takes. It would be a win now move. When your wing consists of rooks and all offense guys, he is a nice addition IMO.

Just my opinion guys ;)

Probballdraft
One Western Conference GM said a third team will likely be included to increase assets sent to Orlando. On face NJ & LA don't have enough.

The guy was playing in FRANCE! Its not even Spain or Euroleague, it was a 2nd tier team in freakish french league, he SHOULD play well there, if he didnt, where would he play well? Here in Brazil?

BTW, I agree Earl is a good prospect, but every NBA team has someone with potential like him.

Hopefully Earl Clark. If we have to trade D12, I want to lose as many games as possible this year. There are 6-7 legitimate allstars in this draft

I don't see the Magic trying to tank it for draft picks. We have a brand new arena, owner who is getting older and did I mention the All-star game?

I dont either, but I can dream cant I? I just dont want to think about the prospects of a 6-8 seed for the next 5 years.

Harper shows a lot of promise, let's let him prove it to us before we jump to any conclusions.

Ladies and gentleman we now have nice youngins on this team, the tide has changed..

We do have quite a bit of youth there. Liggins and Harper are totally unproven and Clark has limited experience. Harper could have a big upside, but I am not sure that SVG is the coach to bring it out of him. I don't think SVG is the best at working with young talent. The problem is there is nobody on there that people are going wow about, no potential future star.

It does look like we already have the youth part of the rebuilding. We need to get a young potential star, not just role players. We will need picks to do that and hope for some good luck in the draft. Tha is if Dwight is is leaving.

None of this will happen though if the RDV wants to win before he dies approach is true. They are going to be trying to bring in some star talent to this roster and try and do it now.

If that is the approach they also need to get a grizzled veteran with championship experience, that's not Davis either.

This is gong to be tough.

gordon would of been perfect :(

Even if that were true they have to see that the only way to do that is bring in star to help dwight, unless they can trade for another star. With what's left out there there is not enough to improve our team without dwight to win it all in the next 5 years.
Gotta love Loyalty! Go Magic!
