I got a bunch of my posts quoted on Page 51,
I think this deal is falling apart which is great news.
The Magic can move J-Rich on their own. Q-Rich and Duhon are about $4.5 million combined after the Magic buyout Duhon next season. That is not that bad.
Moving contracts should be the last priority of any deal. The Nets includes three bad firsts and what would be a very bad contract for Brook Lopez.
I don't buy that Henny would take back a maxed out Lopez and those horrible picks if there is anything else on the table from other teams.

I think Dwight would stay in LA if he was traded there. Bynum may not stay in Orlando but theres a good chance he will. Either do that deal or make Dwight play in Orlando next season.
A Bynum/picks for Howard deal could be done, but the Lakers have no picks and they also want to throw their garbage on us with Bynum.
I say Rob will either get what he wants or he will keep Howard all season and dare him to walk in the end, which he may very well do, but he will do so losing a ton of money in the process and most importantly, he won't get what he wants.

Ken Berger @KBergCBS
Orlando may want all draft picks exchanged in the trade, giving them five first-round picks in a deal without Cavs, league source says.
Ken Berger @KBergCBS
Cavs would've gotten a 1st-round pick for taking Humphries. If Orlando takes him, they get the pick, bringing their total in deal to five.

Great, Lopez/Humphries/Brooks and 5 draft picks. Back to square one.

There are actually only two teams on that list Howard claims he would play for in the future. The Magic and Mavs.
I still say Howard will not walk away from 25 to 30 million, but that is me. At this point though, I don't even want him on my team. I would rather him walk and we gain cap space then Rob trading him for trash we are stuck with.

Why the heck does everyone want a 1st rounder to take Brooks?

If this happens...its means we either don;t have other offers, or Magic really are trying to get dwight to the Nets. I mean WHY would you take on Kris...WHY I just don't get it man

I wonder if Charlotte would do a Augustine/Bismark/1st in 2014 deal for a one year rental. Let the Bobcats make some money for a year.

I was there in Atlanta for Game 4 of our 2010 series against the Hawks where the entire Phillips Arena booed Joe Johnson off the damn court when we swept them. He should've left that summer only to somehow get paid again. It's baffling.
At least Rashard and Hedo stepped their games up when it mattered.

many of you are confused by comparing stat lines by guys on mediocre teams with stat lines from guys on teams that make the finals.
Look at Bosh's numbers in Toronto compared to Miami. Was he a better player in Toronto? NOOO
He put up volume numbers because no one else on the Toronto teams could contribute as much.
Joe Johnson's numbers are merely volume numbers on a team that has NEVER made it out of the second round of the playoffs and only got that far once. The Nets will be regretting taking on that contract within 18 months.
Dwight will once again find himself on a team not quite good enough to win it all, and unable to make any good moves because it's strapped down by bad contracts.

Ric Bucher @RicBucher
Also see reports that Cavs are out of deal. Source says their position hasn't changed: not all the way in, not all the way out.

Dude was the 5th best rebounder in the league last year, let's not slay him. Hard to say how many years and how much money. 1 year of Humphries a pick and getting rid of J-Rich would not be a bad move. Its obvious we need at least 2 more PFs to round out our rotation.

Lol at the Nets if they re-sign Lopez.
I can't defend the roster moves of our front office, but D12 will never see the same loyalty anywhere else than from the Magic franchise.

I can wait.
Then look at numbers, look at playoff averages, look at whatever you want.
J.Johnson>>>>> Hedo or Rashard.... I can't believe you homers cant see that.
Stop reading stat lines. Volume scorers on mediocre teams aren't better than major cogs on teams that make the finals. You probably also think Monta Ellis is the second coming of DWade.
Even the crappy teams have leading scorers.
Like B. Lopez.
