Anybody miss Rafer? we got to the finals with him...we got to the finals with a PG that pushes the pace...Tired of Jameer and Dudu walking the ball up....Can't say it's fatigue because that ish happens every game to the point where even Matty was saying push the ball...we play too slow and i don't get why? we have the capability to play a lot faster than we do but....IDK...I think it's on the players...Stan said it himself that for some reason the team doesn't want to run...we got to change that man

Little OT but:
http://www.nba.com/games/20120118/OKCWA ... GIboxscore

Durant: 24 FGA
Westbrook: 26 FGA
Rest of the starters: 8 FGA

It looks bad IMO.

I'd give my left nut for a PG like Rafer Alston. Dude was one of my favs in that Finals run. We NEED A REAL PG.

The only guy that we could us to upgrade that actually said he wants out is Andre Miller. What do they want for him?

I just dont know why Larry Hughes played that much time, he did play some good d, but why him over wafer all that time? weird move

and the jj shot at the end, jj hasnt been good for under 10 secs. i remember he airballed that 3 in new orleans last year i believe. but it was a very tough loss to swallow, so many chances.

Jameer in no way ran the offense well or played good defense. He was atrocious. He held the ball way too long. He couldn't hit anything. He's been terrible on offense all season. On defense he was getting pillaged by Parker. He sags off him man way too much for no reason (like seriously, what is he going to do? Block a shot in the paint for the help D? Rebound? LOL). He's garbage. The only good thing he did was get that steal by reading the pass to Duncan. Other than that he controlled the tempo like a buffoon, and played like one.

JJ was great in the 2nd half for us. I don't fault him for much. Dude kept us in the game!

he did run the offense well, he was at least running up court, looking for fast break opportunities. jj had a couple lay-ups, and so did q-rich. and most of tony parkers points were on duhon. when jameer came back in the game, hughes was on him. and u supposed to be under tony parker, hes one of the best in the league at getting to the rim, even matty said scouting report says you go under tony parkers screens.

and i was no way blaming the loss on jj, i was just saying that was a tough way to lose.

jameer was putrid tonight, he couldnt stand up, was falling all over the place..but parker was like 9/9 when duhon was in the game, he killed duhon

To be fair, Parker was already blazing hot by the time Jameer came back in the game.

Hedo is really important to this teams offence. Not only assist wise but ball movement wise. Magic had only 12 assists? Are you kidding me?

Hedo is playing well and all but I don't like the fact that Magic is so dependent on him. Magic needs a very good pg. smh

Six of the next seven games are against some of the [current] best teams in league.
Yikes!

I'm proud the Magic came as close to winning tonights game as they did. The first and only back-to-back-to-back game this team has ever played and they went 2-1.

I was happy in the beginning when Jameer was "pushing the ball up" but he just stopped doing that after a while.

And I'm not saying you did blame JJ, :) Sorry if it sounded that way.

Without JJ the game doesn't even go to overtime.

Stan postgame said he played Jameer too many minutes on a back to back to back. Said he didn't have his legs. He didn't have much choice though IMO with Duhon playing so atrociously. As bad as Jameer was, he was still doing more for us out there than Duhon.

I don't even know why so many people are mad about this loss. clearly(at least i think so), both teams were tired tonight, we played a pretty good team well, without Hedo. for the first time in years, i wasn't mad about a loss.

did you only watch the final shot?

JJ got to the basket, drew fouls and got put us into overtime almost single-handedly on offense in the final minutes of regulation.

also, that last shot he took made it, he was just obviously way off as far as the shot clock goes. i'm still surprised he didn't lean straight in to the flying Danny Green and get him 3 FTs and the chance to win the game.

I thought about it. If the Magic took the ball out of Meers hands and gave it to Hedo, Meer would become completely useless. Because, he can't defend or shoot well. He would just be there. A black hole that the team plays around. Well, they could have him bring the ball up the court and then dish to Hedo once he clear half court.
