I love firing foyle. He was dead weight and screwed us at the deadline IMO for not getting Ryan and jj traded when he pretty much took over for Otis.

Now assistant gm is done and some scouts will soon follow and a coach. Wouldn't be surprised if they both will begin negotiations with our next coach later today and into tmrw.

ATL will do anything to get rid of Joe Johnson's deal.

I'd say they would prefer Q+Duhon instead of Jrich.

This buries us in cap hell, but at least this time with good players.

It looks like he came in with a defined plan and is running with it at full steam, I just wish I knew what direction he was going.

As far as either the 8th pick or Lowry which would you rather have? I am thinking Lowry unless Lilliard was there but I think he will be gone to the Blazers at 6

That would be a bad trade for Houston, IMO.

I would have done that if i was no. I think at ten your going against odds that you get a difference maker, same odds that you face at 14 plus you get more chances with 16

Is Assistant GM a promotion over VP of Basketball Operations? Seems backwards.

I think it's a lateral move. I don't think Perry stays with us for long. He's respected and I think he'll get his own gig in 1-3 yrs. Working for us is just a resume builder.
