He is very young (18) and can transfer into 2026 draft as well, but as second round euro stash he is probably better investment than trade for owner's cash.
As a player, Michael is 6'9 fluid PF/SF, ready game well, strange positioning while shooting, leaning forward.
Plays for Juventut, one of better Spanish clubs. Plays with pros since he is 16.

His name has been on my radar only because a game I played a while back had him as a 6’10 stretch 5 with high potential, but every time he’d fail to live up to that potential, lol. I need to watch some actual clips of him.

I don't even want Weltman to think too hard. Just open the consensus final mock and take the next player. If he tries to over analyze it, you end up with Chuma or Jett.Skybox wrote:basketballRob wrote:Weltman needs to look at the consensus mocks and just take the highest available player. That's what you and I do for free...don't give "Sleepy Weltman" any ideas![]()
Honestly, there'd better be a whole lot more insight, projection and analysis than that from a guy making millions more than all of the podcasters and part-time media members throwing around their takes.
Although, it does kind of lead to a conclusion of "Let ChatGpt have the job"![]()
Less massive successes, but less mistakes I imagine.

I remember Franz being in that range. If you pick a player who is 2-3 spots from the pick, it isn't bad. 15 picks away is a stretch. Most mocks had Franz going 9. I remember Kings fans thinking for a month that they were getting Franz at 9.RookieStar wrote:basketballRob wrote:I don't even want Weltman to think too hard. If we go with that consensus thinking, we would have picked Bouknight/Moody/Zaire over Franz

Hitting on Paolo and Franz alone makes it worth it for me, everything else is icing on the cakeHusky1 wrote:Cammo101 wrote:Drafting is the one thing Weltman seems to do well. Step aside and let him cook.
come again?? This narrative is completely false.
Isaac- Ill give injury excuse
Bamba - just worse than Jett. Actually maybe worse considering what was on the board
Paolo - pick 1 no brainer. Dont believe any GM would of picked Jabari.
Suggs- Fell cos raptors chose Scottie
Franz- This is the one ill give him credit for. However, the shot needs to get better
Chuma- First rounder on a bloke who was a reach even before he did his **** ACL before draft
Cole- Yuck
AB- Not looking great. Rotation player sure. But pick 6?
Jett- Worse pick than Fran Vasquez
TDS- 24 yr old rookie who had an ok 3 games at start of year and has done nothing since. We don't have Coby White cos Weltman wouldn't add him to the package!!!!!
Caleb - Not a disaster.
Without looking, I bet all the second rounders we gave away for cash would probably be a better lot than our first round picks. Comical he still has a job
