While Nelson is trash, Calderon is no better. He's worse defensively and is a true system player that relies solely on having the ball in his hands. You put him on a team with Hedo and our team regresses even more.

Try again. We don't want to exchange garbage.

Trade 1

ORL-Griffin,Jordan,Gomes
LAC-Dwight,Reddick

Trade 2
ORL-Batum
POR-Anderson

Jameer/Duhon
Jrich/Wafer
Batum/Turk
Griffin/Davis
Jordan/Davis

This team would still be awful enough to get us top 10 picks for the next few years, while we can keep developing blake.

It really is the only trade that would make me happy... minus a Dwight/Lebron, Dwight/Rose or Dwight/Durant swap which would never happen.

Who cares what Clippers fans think. Last time I checked they had absolutely no say in a trade.

We know that. Thanks. Welcome to the "Speculation" thread.

it is best to hear what canadians think of him before making a stat-based decision. i am not saying you do, but 90% do.

For years I've been saying we should trade for him. I've seen him play a lot of basketball games, and as far as my knowledge of basketball goes, I think he'd be a great PG to play with Dwight ..

He's a pass-first PG, he doesn't care about scoring himself. And I've always said that I'd like a type of PG like Calderon/Rondo .. A guy that can have a stat line with more AST than PTS ..

That team is not bad enough to be in the lottery. That's a 6-8 seed.

Hmm at most i'd see that team going .500, but i'd guess in a full season they'd win 30-35 games. If they do stay at a 6-8 seed either way we still get decent picks and in a few years when our core of blake, jordan, batum develop and turk and some other people expire we can use our cap room to add missing pieces and cntend again.

Realistically, I would go for any point guard who can get up and down the floor without constantly falling down.

Being able to pass, dribble, and score the occasional point would be a bonus.

Portland has no use for Ryan with Aldridge there, and they're so damn high on Batum that I'm sure they wouldn't even trade him for Dwight.

And at least one bad deal has to be packaged with Dwight, either J-Rich or Hedo.

we should figure out a way to get john wall. to me, he has been very underwhelming so far. i wouldn't think of him as untradeable if i were WAS. i would send him if they would offer me Rondo or somebody of comparable value to Rondo.

Yeah, especially in the East.

I'd actually argue that it could make 5 or 4th seed.

But, we'd have young, attractive players and still have capspace coming up in 2013 to make a run at a wing.

whoever we trade dwight to we need to get portland involved in a 3 team deal for batum. it would be great if we can get rid of turk and get back batum for our future sf.

Personally, i said f#@K Dwight. Even if we could appease this little twerp, i want him gone now. I would definately not give up Ryno for Nash, and especially not when the motivation behind it is to keep this hypocrite in a Magic jersey. Looking at his face every night just makes me mad now. I hate everything about his personality. He has done nothing, he is weak in the mind, he is immature, he falls to pieces under pressure, and doesnt know how to lead. He hits 80% of his free throws at training, and can only hit 40% in a game because he is scared of the big stage, and he has the balls to stand up and call everyone else out for not having that 'championship' mentality, even though we all know the reason we dont have this, is because of HIM! The celts have it because of KG, the lakers because of Kobe, and the reason for that is because teams adopt the personality of their best player under pressure situations, and in our situation, the best player is a whiny, scared, immature little brat who wants to be the best without having to beat the best. Well, id prefer to watch a young run n gun type team develop, who play with heart and hustle every single night, with players who understand that they are a PART of the team, not bigger than the team.

Ok, my bad, i feel so much better now...
