To me i don't care as long as he is out west.

Swap Westbrook with Harden, and we have ourselves a midseason trade.

But as of now, I prefer Houston's offer, just like the possibilities.

westbrook would be amazing though. i think he is every bit as good as derrick rose. that's someone we can build around.

Agreed. Too bad OKC knows this...

Lakers. But yeah, we have a solid fanbase on Twitter. I'm sure that's partly due to not having an NFL, NHL or MLB team...

Well I checked all sports. Couldn't find another team in NHL, NFL, or NBA or MLB with a Million followers. Yankees dont even have a million.

Of course except Lakers with 2. something million.

What I'm saying is we don't have any other pro sports teams... probably makes it easy for average fans to pick a sport/team to follow.

I Disagree. Orlando with it's success and having one of the top 5 most popular players in the world wouldn't have anything to do with a sports team. People follow a lot of things they are interested in.

My guess too is that we have one of the most active reporting teams reaching out to people. IDK if you believe in researches and all but Orlando is also one of the top 10 or 15 tech cities in the country.

Just my guess though.

I agree with other posters wanting to take a chance on Greg Oden...give him a 3 year/ $9 million contract with a team option for the last two years. Could pay of HUGE. If he doesn't pan out, only out one year this coming season and that is nothing.

Interesting. I'll sign on later. I'm going to try to figure out where Ping's sources are from.

looking ahead...what potential lottery teams might would want KMart? or is it more realistic to assume a contender would come calling for him and thus a crappy draft pick + young player?

LMAO at some of you wanting Greg Oden. If some of you consider Andrew Bynum as Grant Hill part deux, then WTF is Greg Oden?

ummmmm if we are rebuilding and tanking this year what is the harm in gambling?? If he signed to the contract i said and he gets injured or sucks, we are out $3 million in a year where we have TONS of cap space. who cares? IF he pays off, it could be huge for us.

Lets just say for fun if it was your money that was being spent on this team. Would you be so cavalier with 9 million dollars then? Hey I have a Ferrari on sale for 50,000 but it has a bad transmission and frame damage. How bout it?

Yeh, I don't really understand this idea of a lottery team wanting KMart. Why would they really give up a good draft pick for him?? And what valuable piece is a contender going to give up to us for him? I think the smartest move is simply to keep him as an expiring and use that large cap space to go after a top free agent.
