So the fact that it was Steph Curry on him doesn't matter? Cmon man, a PF defending possibly the most crafty PG in the league. If you insist on pointing the finger, point it at our PG who should have picked him up...

Either way, im really proud of this team. Great game regardless of the outcome. Sucks it had to end in such a crushing way...

Harris is a SF, btw. :nonono:

No, that play is totally on Harris. Don't know why you're defending him here. This has nothing to do with a matchup problem. All Harris had to do is stay close to Curry and force him to not shoot a 3, but instead he gives him a big gap. Curry probably would have just drove past him and made a layup because he is much faster, but there was no reason why Harris should have gave the best 3 point shooter in the NBA that much room. Normally we are too critical on Harris' defense, but that was terrible and he deserves to be called out. Also, Payton couldnt have picked him up, he was down at the other end after taking a shot. It was Harris who was responsible to pick up the man in transition.

Maybe they just defended it really well?

Yeah I shouldn't be mad but this one hurts. We were missing our best player and playing one of the best teams in the league.

I think JV let Vic sit too long. He cooled off.

Elf finally gets by Bogut but it rims out. Next year it will go in. He just needs more time.

I really wish we had somebody else 2 inbound KOQ always seems to fk it up. If Frye hadn't fouled Out he would've been the one in bounding for sure.

I'm quite calm and content but I did feel a twinge of rage to see Curry grinning and shimmying like a fool at the end, and of course the basketball writers going nuts about him on Twitter.

Oh well. Respect must be earned. This crew will get there.

lol, why are we fighting over who to be upset with after seeing our young team go on the road without Vuc and nearly knock off a team currently tied for the best record in the league!!!!!!????

Tonight we should be tossing out credit, not blame!

You cant blame Harris much. Broken play with the game winding down. Pull up 3 in transition. You get too close and you know for sure front runner Joey Crawford is calling a foul. He misses that shot and everyone dayse how stupid it was.

God I really wish we could've gotten that one... Sigh... So close... Steph Curry is a problem... Only negative I see with him is that he looks like a twig... You have to cautiously put the weight of the franchise on his back...

So close Elf.... So close....ughhh

Yep totally agree. I'd much rather take this over a stupid blowout. Sure this one hurts more, but that's how these guys are going to get better. They need to be competitive and learn how to win these types of games, even when refs give out superstar calls. I'm seeing growth in a lot of the young guys, and that's what I want right now more than anything. Wins will eventually come.

dude he got schooled by a better player. Curry did an in and out move that gave him the space, harris didnt intentionally give the best shooter in the world space obviously....

Your guys played a heck of a game and we basically stole it from you. Should be a good character builder for you and we needed this win really bad in the torrid West. Man, that guy Oladipo had a whale of a game. Didn't realize how good he is. He really showed himself against the supposed best backcourt in the NBA, Looks good for you guys future. Your coach did a great job too.

Thought I'd leave this here a response to my post on the GS board. Especially the last part :)
