Well hes the only one worth a damn. Nobody is going to pay Biyombo $17 million to do nothing. Since moving Nik is an immediate, and massive downgrade at the center position it'll be good for the tank.

Rob has said that moving Biyombo isn't difficult in his infamous luncheon brief.

Once we had a team where we have ball dominant wings that score a lot, a bunch of you Biyombo non-believers will start to see why he fits better on a contender than Vuc does.

So, in your eyes Biyombo is good player? I'm sure that when you have Lebron , Durant or Curry on a team you can start Darko Miličić on center and he will look good. Just look at Javale McGee

Any team with a competent offense would love to have a guy like Biyombo.

I can't say that I trust your player judgement when you defend Hezonja the way you do.

If Biyombo is as good as you think he is, wouldn't Toronto have kept him? I don't know if you missed it but Ive said about a million times, that as currently constructed, Biyombo doesn't fit this team and that centers who only have the mental fortitude to block shots, like Biyombo, would exceed on a team with elite wing players. I generally wouldn't mind him if we had the firepower on the wings to support the oaf but we don't. I knew this a long time ago.

I also had this expectation that at $17 million, I don't know, we'd get the same effectiveness on defense we saw in the PO's last season because I also thought he was an elite defender and possibly rebounder which I also repeated a few times. Unfortunately we haven't seen anything close to that. The absolute fact is that at worst there's a small decrease on the defensive side of the ball when Nik comes in because of his much improved defense which apparently everyone on the planet earth has noticed except you.

Maybe. But I'm sure they wouldn't want to pay him 17 million a year.

Regular Season Biyombo is not worth it, but Playoff Biyombo is.

Okafor and now Lopez? They seem to want an offensive big. Vuc?

I guess for me it depends on the details of that pick and which player is involved.

I mean if we're going into rebuild mode, why not trade Vucevic for Ajinca, Galloway, and a 2018 1st Rounder (top 5 protected) or an unprotected 2019 1st Rounder if the 2018 1st is not fulfilled.

Trade coming?

It is almost the ASW and Zimmerman can spend the week working with Orlando trainers and player-development staff.

..

With our track record in player development, I think Zimmerman should stay in Erie.

I wonder if Biz works best alone in the paint defensively. He shows good leadership and talks and directs defensive wings.. Some bigs are better when they don't have another nearby and it's all on them...like Dwight. I think it's possible that all of the switching, sharing, deferring, etc reveals his limitations. It's not like he's an American kid whose been coached since he was 9. Just a thought.

I'm only talking D...I understand he wears oven mitts on offense. That's another discussion.

We are not getting into the playoffs anytime soon, so we better get rid of him then.

Another good reason for having Biyombo is that our young developing wings don't have to fight for shots against Vuc aka the White Hole.

I think its funny people say our players don't have value and that our asking price is too high yet they think they can only give up scraps, so that they can keep their team competitive, for a difference maker

The Magic seem to be handling the trade deadline well. The best thing to do is field offers from other teams and wait until trade deadline and than select the best offer. I wish all of our trade rumors would still private because everything seems to get leeked out into the media and the public.

This draft is going to have much better players in the 20-30ish range compared to last year. I really believe some guys that do fall in that range could have been late lottery selections last year. I'm looking at guys like Giles and Leaf for example. So yea I'll take those picks.

Idk if Portland considers it since they still have a glut of forwards but no question it's an upgrade. From Ezeli to Ibaka LOL, from zero to hero.
