Guys before we get our pitch forks let’s at least see these guys play.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

I am pretty embarrassed by this draft, to be honest. No trades. No moving up and down to board. Picking guys WAY TOO HIGH. Welp, I hope they prove me wrong like they did with Franz.

Legit my most hated draft in the moment in Magic history, I think. Especially considering our assets going into the night and how much I liked a lot of these prospects.

Nah I like Bufkin but it would be a logjam after Black

but I did mention that Jett was mocked like 11-16 for a while until the last month, where he dropped all of a sudden

Cmon man no one really knows how good these kids are gonna be in this draft range.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

Jett Howard would have been on the board at 18-19

Couldn’t they have traded back?

Black was on my list of players as a potential pick at 6th. Whitmore or Hendricks were my preference. Not too upset about the pick. Black is a defender and playmaker. He will need to work on developing better shooting techniques. Not too impress with it. Since the Magic chose Black, I hope they have develop better ways to develop players with broken shooting techniques. Other than that, welcome to the Magic Anthony Black.

We wanted shooting from the draft - we got it. We wanted a backup forward - we got it.

Fingers crossed he’s like Franz and has more to the package than most of us are expecting.

My wife saw him on the tv and reminded me that's the guy she spilled her Pepsi on at the game.

Well, Jett Howard...this is a true Magic stunner...........lost for words...

Some Juwan Howard and Michigan connections.

BUT BUT BUT waaaaait a minute...... what does this mean for the future of Caleb Houstan, Garry Harris, Kevon Harris, and to some extent Cole, Fultz and Suggs. I guess at least 2 of them are out before the season starts. I bet on it, if not more than 2 of the aforementioned.

This draft will leave us with more questions about the structure of the roster than answers.

DICK, CAM and HAWKINS still undrafted and we pick this guy projected in the 20s. WTH !?!?!?! Better be surprisingly good as Franz selection was.

Why is everyone up in arms? Howard looks like a really good pick. Does what we need badly.

Must admit this is true. Paolo and Franz were surprising picks.
