So, the young prospect from PHX earl... He won't get any time at all? Why can he get a few minutes @ the 4?
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

Considering what a couple of ESPN "experts" wrote I found the article from SI refreshing.

Holy shi*!

Thats the first thing that came to my mind when my brother texted me telling me of both trades. I expected a trade soon, we all did really, but man to make such a a huge change, half the team traded in one day was shocking. I have to say that I like the moves. We have better more explosive talent now but we dont know for sure how it will all work once they are out on the floor. There will probably be growing pains but the potential is there.

Second thing that came to my mind was that Jameer is gonna be the next traded. I feel like his days are numbered.

We have rolled the dice but hey we had to, it was obvious that the team as constructed was not going to win a title, that was really obvious, has been for a while.

This team is gonna be really freaking interesting.

serious question - i do expect another move to get some type of big, but right now that hasn't been done (not to mention i don't expect a significant addition).

so what happens when dwight sits ?
forget foul trouble for a minute (not that you really can), but just "sits" ???

scary thought if you ask me.

best player in the deal for sure.
not sure he'll be quite as effective as he is in phx, but should be close.

sure hopefully the coach will put more emphasis on pushing the tempo since it's the coach who usually emphasis it so the pg can put it into action. :D

The more I look at it, the more I think Jameer will get traded.

I just don`t think

Jameer
Gilbert
Richardson

will work out well. With Jameer here, Gilbert has to play minutes at the 2, which will cut into both JJ and Q`s minutes.

If we trade Jameer for a backup big and fillers

Gilbert Williams
Richardson JJ
Turkoglu Q
Bass Anderson
Howard (backup big)

I feel we`d be better that way.

If Earl Clark a former lotto pick can get it together I can actually see the lineup being:

Arenas
J-Rich
Turkoglu
Clark
Howard

Dude was pretty damn nice in college but couldn't find his way in Phoenix.

Jameer would make a great trading chip. Gilbert makes him expendable and Jameer could be used in a package to land a big man to play alongside Dwight.

As long as Dwight is here Meer will not be traded....he would of been included in a deal if he was going to be traded but i think Dwight set certain parameters and one of them probably was Jameer was untouchable

If so and they aren't traded to a team w/ cap room we'll have 30 days to see what the dude can do.

I have to disagree. Dwight wants a winning team and he knows that we have been burned at pg time and time again. This trade has made it possible to trade Jameer for that big man. The Magic should look towards the Kings. They have been shopping their big man and have been having pg problems. 8-)

Arenas, Hedo, Jameer, and Jrich mean our per capita swag is off the charts. At least this team can be counted on in the clutch. Arenas was my favorite player along with Kobe before his injury, both because of his off-court personality and his swagger on the court. It's easy to forget that his 29.4 ppg season, he was 2nd only to Kobe on offense, as formidable as anyone in the 4th quarter, and had more range than anyone I've ever seen play basketball. Normally I would tell myself I'm being a homer and delete that last sentence, but I explicitly remember posting a similar sentence that season.

With everybody focusing on Arenas and the return of Hedo, I almost feel bad for Jason Richardson, who isn't getting much attention but might just be the best player we got out of these deals.
