I have a feeling Orlando is going to make improvements, see how the season goes, and hope Howard re-signs. Orlando won't trade Howard unless he demands a trade.

My big hope is now that Gilbert Arenas comes back this year and makes everyone on this board look really stupid. I'd look as dumb as anyone, because I've got no faith in him whatsoever, but heck, I'd be wearing a big dumb grin on my big dumb face.

Sadly, that may be more of a pipe dream than landing CP3 or Deron. And that's saying something.

Was gone for a few hours... any updates on why Monta/Biedrins didn't show up to the Warriors training facility?

if we miss the boat on the Paul/Ellis/Iggy/JSmoove deals (which, in all likelihood we will), then we've got to find a way of convincing other GMs that our guys are talented and have value.

if the Magic want the best chance of making moves to put some decent pieces around Dwight then they need to dedicate the first half of this season to showcasing guys. Stan needs to change the system up from team ball to the Dwight + Anderson + Meer show (peppered with some big cameos by JJ, Harper and Orton).

give Anderson and Meer 16-18FGAs a game each and let them stat pad, so come the trade deadline our pieces carry enough value they can be offloaded with Hedo for expirings (Jamison) or cap space.

let's clear house and go for Deron.

either that or they bite the bullet and convince NOH to send Paul to LAC with Dwight and milk them of all their assets - including Griffin.

Kyler just listed us as the third best option after GS drops off, also gave us advantage over Boston. Haven't really heard anything about the Rockets surface...

This is pure speculation on Kyler's part. Doesn't mean NO's is looking at this the same exact way, but he's right, hopefully we can pull something off

if dwight signed an extension he would earn $19.5mil next year? if he opts out he could start at a lower salary $14-16 and help the team towards the cap? that 5mil could be huge in trying to sign a top player

I KNEW gs wouln't give up curry. what could dallas offer? no way he gets dealt to houston they have kyle lowry. he said he would'nt sign in boston. this will get interesting

We can beat whatever Dallas offers. What would Houston trade? We can take back Okafor/whoever and CP3 without an extension. Not getting my hopes up at all but this will be interesting.

Hornets won't want to rebuild with:

Okafor
Anderson
Ariza
JJ
Nelson

because the only potential upside on that lineup is Anderson. and that's really all we can offer them.
