Yes they have talked, and that has been reported already by a few good media outlets. I just wanted to give the specifics i heard.

Throw in Robin Lopez via TPE and get it done. Seriously though, a decent trade IDEA, but we need to hope Nash can stay healthy in a deal like this. If Nash goes down and we're stuck w/ Duhon as our starting point, I think most people here would beg for Jameer back.

MagicalNBA never had any credibility to begin with, but Nash to Orl is as agent smith would say: "inevitable".

I would think, though, either Frye or Childress will be involved, not Hakim or Robin. Don't get me wrong, all of those guys are scrubs. Just that the former two have large contracts.

people, people... don't get me wrong, Dwight is the anti-christ and all, but... He did more for the Magic and the city of Orlando than you and your tens of thousands immature friends will ever do. so stop saying things like "what did he ever do", "he did nothing", etc and just stick to "spoiled brat" like the rest of us.

Lost some credibility? He never earned any credibility, so how could he lose it? He's not media, he's not connected. He reads crap on RealGM and sports sites and tweets about it.

Certainly seeing a major pickup in national trade talk. I thought it would take a bit longer before teams started getting the itch to move guys around, more towards the all-star break, but it seems like we're moving into the intitial phone call period.

Teams that are finding themselves either suddenly out of the playoff picture or just a tad shy of being a legitimate threat in the playoffs should be looking to move guys now.

Teams I see with high probability of making a trade:

NY Knicks
Orlando Magic
Phoenix Suns
Philadephia 76ers
Boston Celtics
Chicago Bulls
LA Lakers
Milwaukee Bucks
Toronto Raptors
Houston Rockets
New Orleans Hornets
Golden State Warriors

Alex Kennedy @AlexKennedyNBA
These next few weeks will be interesting. Wilson Chandler, J.R. Smith, Kenyon Martin, Aaron Brooks, Sonny Weems and more will be available.

I think any one of the 3 could help our team a lot, but Wilson Chandler the most. I understand that he'll command a big contract, but I believe among the contenders, each can offer the same kind of money. If we were to some how land Chandler, I'd be ecstatic. If we could move Turk or J-Rich to make room for JR Smith or Wilson Chandler, I think it we'd have two major upgrades in the starting lineup.

Is it still possible to do a sign and trade with Denver for the former Nuggets?

I cant believe how easily this team is willing to lose ryno

Really, we are gonna trade a 23 year old 6'10 PF whose already averaging 17/7 in his first year starting just to get a 1 year rental on a 37 year old PG? really? All to make dwight happy when its painfully obvious hes already made up his mind and isnt staying here no matter what?

Keep Ryno/JJ, make everyone else expendable, including dwight. Hell trade Jameer for ANYTHING you can get for him

A one year 3 1/2 million deal. Honestly we should had either: A) signed a decent defensive SG (like DeShawn Stevenson) to a one year deal like Brown received or B) Knowing that we were getting Von Wafer along w/ Glen in that trade deal, let Redick man the starting SG role w/ Von as his back-up.

I didn't understand why we resigned J-Rich based on the above trade that I mentioned. Honestly we should had just used him in a sign and trade before the season start. His value was much higher then, than it is now.

I am torn about Ryno. He is a very nice, vastly improving player that would easily average 20/10 IF he developed a low post game and would get a lot more boards if Howard wasn't sucking them all up. He should only be traded for a Monta, Iggy, Granger type of perimeter scorer. Who knows what his ceiling is? He would be a nice piece to rebuild around if he would resign for 5 years / $30 - $35 mill. Redick's shooting and ball movement has become vital to the Magic's success this season. If JJ would resign for 4 years/ $20 million, he is worth keeping. If we keep Howard...Nelson, BBD, JRich, Turk, Q, Duhon, Harper, Orton should all be offered to improve this team. If Howard is traded, those said players definitely need to be traded for younger players, picks, cap space, etc. Keep Ryno, JJ, and Wafer/Clark because they have cheap contracts the next few years.

The problem with Ryno is most around the league think he's only a system player. Teams aren't sold on him being productive without a dominant low post presence to draw double teams
