I've been trying to figure your point out but I can't lol, what is it? If its in reference to my post, then I agree thats just another thing that makes Arenas and Oladipo different

It's that we shouldn't sell Oladipo so short by comparing him to Gilbert, someone whose only asset was high volume chucking and pretty much nothing else.

When Vic has the ball and he makes a dribble drive or pulls up for a shot on the move he looks like Arenas. Its not a bad thing because in his prime Arenas was one of the best scorers in the league. However that does not mean that I am saying he will be an Arenas type player. Vic plays all out on defense unlike Arenas and seems to have a different mentality.

I was a Burke lover. Really had higher hopes for him. What are his summer league stats thus far?

Like everyone likes to say, it's only summer league... but man, Burke continues to look like garbage. And on top of the shooting woes, his coach benched him... in summer league! That tells me he's got some major issues right now and it's not just a slump. He may be fine in the long run, but it's looking like he will need a lot of work to get there.

today's stats: 8 pts, 3/15 fg, 0/5 3pt, 4 ast, 1 to, 0 stl, 4 reb in 26 minutes
game 3 stats: benched!
game 2 stats: 11 pts, 5/15 fg, 1/6 3pt, 2 ast, 4 to, 0 stl, 2 reb in 24 minutes
game 1 stats: 8 pts, 1/12 fg, 0/4 3pt, 5 ast, 2 to, 1 stl, 7 reb in 32 minutes

So 9/42 (21%) from the field, 1/15 (6%) from downtown... ouch.

When he does it in a meaningful game, then you can.

I think Burke will look a lot better when the real games start but i thought suggestions about drafting him top 5 were insane. Looked very average athletically in college, and looks below average now.

I'm not going to write Burke off yet, but I'll write MCW off. Dude can't shoot to save his life and he can't finish at the rim, there's no hope for him.

MCW shot so bad in college that is obvious he is gonna be really bad in the NBA as well. That's why I was so against acquiring this guy. Good luck with that Philly.

Even harder to predict considering he hasnt played the last two. Interesting.

Agree. It's good for Philly, though, they'll be able to tank effectively with him.

With all the talk of MCW sucking, I almost expect him to shoot lights out against the Magic today...

He'll set a summer league record with 36 or more points.

Eh... Seems a little unfair to me. MCW couldn't shoot in college, did you expect that to change his first summer league? I don't really like MCW at all but even those who did like him were able to admit he is quite a project. Not to mention that 76ers summer league roster is terrible..bad fit for a slashing/passing PG that can't shoot. Why give Burke a pass and not MCW if you're already writing guys off? Personally, I'm giving both guys a lot more time before I write either off. Its just summer league..

I think you have to give MCW atleast some credit for having 7 assists/0 TO's his second game and playing some defense.

Anyone see this Denton article on O'Quinn? Came out yesterday
