And Detroit's next game is against Houston, so a win-win there.

Its going to be moot once we win vs Knicks tomorrow

Latest mock from Dime Magazine.

1. Cunningham
2. Green
3. Mobley
4. Orlando Magic – Jalen Suggs (G, Gonzaga)
Gonzaga was the absolute perfect situation for Suggs, making this a slightly more difficult evaluation, but he’s been tremendous. His feel is fantastic, his skill level is sky-high, and he should defend at a high level. There are at least mild concerns about him as a primary scorer/initiator, but Suggs is going to be a quality NBA guard that can do a lot of things well, with plenty of upside beyond that. He also has the chance to really shine on the biggest stage if Gonzaga makes the deep NCAA Tournament run many expect.

5. Kuminga
6. K. Johnson
7. Moody
8. J. Johnson
9. Cooper
10. Barnes

Tonight worries me. NY is playing the 3rd game in 4 nights, and we had 3 nights off. Plus they aren't good. After tonight the next 10 look like easy losses.

It would be a good game to give Vuc the night off.

If Fournier & AG are both out its an L for sure, if 1 is out it's 50/50 IMO.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

With our loss tonight and a win from Washington we are now just 1.5 games out from the #3 spot and have a full 2.0 game lead on the #5 team.

Looking good.

WOLVES pick up win No. 10.

They've all of a sudden won 3 of their last 5 and do appear to be ready to be buyers at the deadline too.

Not out of the question they could catch and pass the Magic.

Edwards and Towns both top 40 points in a win for Minny over a good Phoenix team. They are going to be a much better team when they get healthy.

The difficulty is Minny has every single incentive in the world to lose. I believe they give up their pick if it falls outside of the top 3. I'd expect some all-time tank moves the last 20 games or so on their part.

Meanwhile, we will more than likely hold onto Fournier/AG and win some meaningless games during the same stretch. I'd still venture to say that 5th best odds is our most likely outcome.

I think KAT is sick of losing. He’s not playing for another #1 pick, so if he wants to try make the team compete more there’s not much the franchise can do.

Trading them Gordon would be a good way to lift them and drop us.

I've already heard some rumblings about a potential shutdown for Towns. With his injury history over the last two years, I wouldn't find it shocking in the least to see it happen over the last 10-15 games or so.

Arkansas is getting drilled right now, but don't let Weltman and Hammond see this graphic!

Waiting for Moody to show me something. Haven't caught much of him at all this season. Not seeing much so far. Arkansas has regained all momentum in this one without him.

He's been surprisingly... uninvolved?

I know he sat for an extended period because of fouls in the first half, but with 10 minutes to go in the game, he's 4th on his team in shot attempts.

He did have a nice and 1 a little bit ago, but he hasn't really been too involved.

I'll just say that if I had come into this game not knowing anything about either team, Moody 100% would not have been the player I would have guessed is currently mocking inside the top 10 of drafts.

Arkansas is a really interesting team. A ton of length and athleticism. Reminds me of FSU. Davis and Smith have been the far more impressive players to me. Moody has disappeared for most of this game, including during key stretches of this game, which is never something I love to see out of my lottery picks.

Maybe I caught him on a bad night? Lack of aggression at times and willingness to pass seems to be a common note on him tho.

They have nothing to play for this season and everything to tank for.

Combine that with the year Towns has had off the court and it makes a lot of sense.

Feels like it was just a weird game because Moody leads them in FGA, FTA, PPG and is second in USG%.

He did seem overly passive this afternoon, but it wasn't like he was horrible. 12 points on 8 shots in a game they won by 17.

And hey he'll get another crack at it in two days too.

The Suns are an example of taking a player that plays a position of need, Jalen Smith. Right before Vassell and Haliburton were picked.

So far, lotto picks in Keon SPringer and Moody haven't really impressed. They aren't raising their stocks with thier play so far.
