Maybe he thinks the offense is just that stagnant? Idk. Arenas, Jameer, and Turk on the same team? Maybe Turk back would make Dwight happy...

It sure wouldn't make Patrick Ewing's testicles happy.

Gonna be funny when we end up trading VC for Arenas and everyone goes back to hating Otis.

that would be fun!

I'm leery about J-Rich on this team, too.

He can't create off the dribble that well.

If you take away Richardson's hops his name would be JJ Redick.

Turk only played as good as he did those two years because he was up for a new contract. those were the best years of his career. I hope they don't bring Turk back.

Otis better not get fleeced on this Gilbert deal. He should know that there is not another single team in the league that will trade for Gilbert. The Magic are the only team considering him and his contract. Thus, I don't want to see no Vince for Gilbert deal.

I thought they whole point of talking to Wizards was because of Arenas...but Mannix is now saying Orlando is "balking" at his contract ??

Must be negotiating ploy or something...

Agreed.

He could've gone after one guy (say a Jordan Farmer, Anthony Murrow, or Mike Miller), instead of two stiffs.

If he swings Arenas without giving up Carter, then he can still be in play for Melo with a Jameer+Carter package.

true in deed. Honestly, I think shard should be the first to go right now

Yep, and if the Magic can land a ball-mover, like they had in Hedu, at the SF/PF spot then it makes things *that* much easier for Dwight.

Orlando, FL -- Local Six Sports Director David Pingalore reported Friday night that the Orlando Magic are close to making a trade that would involve Guard Vince Carter and possibly Marcin Gortat."

Don't know how legit this is but man oh man we have a lot going on...or maybe nothing at all.

Yeh that was posted somewhere between pages 26 and 33 yesterday.

I think what he is trying to say is that his only sources are Magic Fan Forums and the fans are balking at this trade unless we are sending out some big contracts.

I'm hoping it turns out to be

Nelson
J-Rich
Turkoglu
Bass
Howard

Turky will work very well in this system WITHOUT Carter AND Lewis.

We'd be a taking one bad contract in Turkoglu but also an expiring in J-Rich.

Return to Orlando Magic
