I have to disagree. Dwight wants a winning team and he knows that we have been burned at pg time and time again. This trade has made it possible to trade Jameer for that big man. The Magic should look towards the Kings. They have been shopping their big man and have been having pg problems. 8-)

well you could be right but i don't think so....i find it real strange that with all the trade talks in the past 24-48 hours we've heard from various sources about different trades and not 1 trade had Jameer as a piece as far as we know.....I don't know it might be just me but i feel like if he was going to be traded he would of already but then again there is still time...but for me i would be shocked if Meer was traded

yeah...this article made me feel sick...especially the last part about how wizards source says hes not as explosive and how about how Dan Fegan can have a lot of leverage and maybe have some power over the team...oh boy...

It can't be said enough how beastly our backcourt is. I challenge anyone to find a better backcourt than Arenas/Jameer/JRich/JJ. You can't. Jameer/Arenas is going to eat defenses alive and JRich/JJ are going to get loads of open looks.

We get no worse on defense, we have the best/equal SF lineup since 2009 with Hedo/Q vs. Hedo/MP.

We have Bass and Anderson primed to emerge in primetime, with an energized Dwight putting it all together.

Now thing of our trade chips just in case: JRich expiring deal, Jameer, JJ, Ryno, Bass.

We can potentially upgrade at any position or go and get a solid backup big.

This is the best team we've ever had and the best position we've ever been in and anyone who doubts our potential to win it all this year with all things considered is just downright foolish.

Nothing new this guy has been hating on the Magic from whatever hole he came out of. After the Magic beat his fav team the Cavs he hated us more. Just another supposed "expert" that is better to just ignore.

The thing that people are missing is that Ryan Anderson is suddenly back in the rotation. And thats not a bad thing, Ryan is a talented player.

Doesn`t suck. Actually a top 15 PG.

But with Arenas, I rather we have him at PG. He plays best with the ball.

he will have the ball in his hands. at the 2 spot doing what vince was suppose to do.

just incase you missed the svg interview the line up will look something like this.

meer/arenas/whoever
arenas/JJ/jrich
jrich/hedo/qrich
bass/anderson/hedo
dwight/allen

Can Gil play off the ball? I keep seeing these rotations with Gil and Turk onthe 2nd unit and that seems to clash since both have a rep for needing the ball to be effective. Meer can play off the ball...did it when Turk was here before. So it seems that Meer can play with Turk, or Meer can play with Gil, but Gil and Turk together may not be so good.

I think it is pretty obvious who among the two is going to have to defer. And it is not Agent Zero.

No. JRich starts at SG and Turk starts at SF for now. JRich is a great scoring option and Hedo needs no introduction, he knows the system.

Just incase you missed the Arenas interview, he was completely fine with coming off bench. Which is what Stan will do.

Can someone explain to me why Orlando did the Phoenix trade... Gortat is obviously more important to this team than Hedo. Jrich really is needed here either even though he's one hell of a player. The Magic just committed long term salary to Reddick, yet they go for Jrich??

We have too many players that need the ball, and not enough balance. No prime time perimeter stoppers at all.. Dwight wont be happy playing a Ben Wallace role for the rest of his contract now will he?

Jameer/Arenas/Carter/Bass/Dwight
With Duhon, JJ, Ryno, Qrich off the bench and Gortat finally getting big minutes at the 4/5 spots

Now thats a better team IMO. Qrich and Vince are interchangeable in the starting 5. Same with Bass and Ryno depending on what Stan is looking for.

Do we really need Arenas, Hedo and Jrich fighting over the ball while cruising on the defensive end?

Ok Hilltop, but my post was less about Arenas and more about getting the most out of Turk when he is on the floor. I know Turk and Meer should defer to Gil when they play with him. It just seems that Gil would be better paired with Jrich and Turk may flourish back in a ball handler/playmaker role playing more with Nelson. By that's just my view at this point. I don't care really, Stan will figure it out.

If Arenas can be a bench player that would be best. Then we would never have to see Duhon play again!
