My sig is just a trade deadline day special. Will be reverting to a more uplifting one after my anger subsides later this evening.

You know what's going to blow my skull? If New York gets a center before 3. Think about it. After we made our trades, EVERYONE kept saying we need a center to backup Dwight. So far, no backup center. New York trades their center away and everyone is saying the same about them. If it takes NY 3 day to get one, and we had about 2 months and never got a backup....horrible.

I think Otis takes a lot of unfair blame here, but this he deserves. He has had ample time to get us a backup center. If there is nothing on the market, then go out and find one in the D-League or something. You can not expect a team to play with only one real center. Otis should have gotten the best center in the D-League on a 10 day contract the minute those trades went through.

I find the Troy Murphy rumors amusing because the 3 teams talking about him are Orlando, Boston, and Miami, and between the 3 teams, only 1 desperately needs a back up center. I think Boston and Miami would sign Murphy just so we don't.

yeah, but it's also a different circumstance... we do have needs to address... and uhh... i kind of want to make the team better so dwight doesn't leave us... so in 1 1/2 hrs the window is closed... on our championship hopes and probably our hopes of keeping dwight... sigh

murphy will not get as much playing time in the other 2 situations compared to orlando.

I personally think the deadline for dwight will be (if there is not a lockout) the next deadline ala c. anthony. So up until that point the magic should try every trick in the book and pull a rabbit out of otis's bum.
