Needs play into that, too.

Here is my take on XBox One Vs PS4, I was definitely going to get an Xbox before all the announcements, but wow Microsoft really messed up their PR on this one. For the 1st reveal all they talked about was the other features NOT gaming. Then you get all these rumors of DRM, this is where the F'd up big time. They should have created a hybrid model for games. If you want all of the awesome features they wanted to pushy like Family Sharing and playing without a disc, then you have to sign up with those DRM features.

Otherwise you can just play games straight from disc without installing. iF you do it this regular way, you don't have to worry about DRM, staying connected online, and used game sales.

I think I'm going to wait and see before deciding which console now.

PG is loaded throughout the league. SG's are out there and not being paid as much as AA. Granted, AA is better than someone like Neal, but Neal was also just paid half his price. Also add that Phx took on Gerald Green and his 2 years at $3.5mil/yr.

If Davis was healthy, I think he would've been gone by now. That injury is saving him from a new zip code.

Yeah, I'm not really thrilled about the 2014 FA class, so taking on a contract like that wouldn't bother me that much, but you're right that it improves the value of the trade for Indiana.

In any event, I'm just saying that vets like these can be very valuable for depth on a contending team. The Pacers gave up a pick to add a vet who will likely only play about 20 minutes backing up West and playing along side him for short stretches when they go small. That's exactly the sort of role Meer could play as a backup PG, and AA could play an even bigger (starter's) role.

Does anyone thing something like this would be possible? I was thinking maybe Orlando could throw in the 1st round pick from LA or Philly with the deal of Indiana demanded a draft pick back

Ps4 all day for me, Microsoft screwed up with all that bull they were trying to pull. Then tried to back pedal and act like they were all about the consumer. Too late imo, got 2k14 on pre-order

I would have given the Xbox at least a chance if it was 399 but I'm not even bothering at 499. PS4 and 2k14 on release day for me

Couple of interesting things:

1) NBA schedule gets officially released on Tuesday, something to at least get the blood pumping again around here...

2) Has anybody taken a look at Philly in the offseason? They only have $40mil in salary and 10 players right now. They have to hit the salary minimum (which I think is around $54mil?)...yet there are basically very few free agents left? They're just going to have to overpay a bunch of fringe guys I guess? Obv helps their super-tank-mode....which they are CLEARLY in and making no qualms about showing it, lol. Wouldn't be shocked at all to see Udrih maybe end up on that team.

Nice. Can't wait to see the schedule.

The Sixers could probably just sign guys to one year deals as you suggested. I'm interested to see what they do since I'm still confused with the Jrue Holiday trade.

As a tanking team, they can simply distribute the difference to the existing players, there is no penalty for being under the salary minimum.
