Tpe + Edwards for AG+16

2021 2022 lineup

Fultz
Edwards, ross
Chuma
Isaac, chief
Mo

By summer 2021

Evan s contract (Gordon s too as he would have been traded) will be off our books, making us a big FA destination

Vuc would be a huge trading chip

Go magic

I love all of this.

I just don't think any of it is true. :noway:

Gw have no need for a rookie they want to win now and AG would fit them perfectly + they could get a steal with #16

I agree with the last sentence, I just don't know that they'd absorb his salary without sending back some filler given the value gap in picks...on the other hand, Edwards (and others at top of draft) are far from sure thing this year. I think AG would be fantastic there...My major disagreements are more with Vuc being a huge trading chip and us being a big FA destination...I like your proposed lineup but it could be disastrous without a surefire scoring vet in there somewhere.

Nothing to absorb as the tpe would work under salary rules

As for FA destination, when you are under the cap you become a preferred FA destination

Like him or not, vuc has value on this league, in the worst case scenario we could get an Expiring contract +asset for him

Agree, but not sure if GSW ownership would be willing to go hog wild with salaries even if TPE allows (especially post-Corona with limited revenue), bad teams with cap space haven't flourished in recent years (but ORL maybe if young guys show something) but it's always good for lopsided trades for teams trying to unload salary. As far as Vuc, I'm a fan, just beaten down by RealGM estimates of his value league-wide...luckily, they didn't pick the All-Stars last year

I'm with you Buddy...I hope it pans out as you describe.

It seems like Golden State has two shortcomings, they don't have a big, and they need some help for Draymond guarding the wings out in the West. I wonder if we could do something like Vucevic + Gordon, and we take back that toxic Wiggins contract + 2021 Minnesota FRP. That is probably the juiciest asset on the market. Vucevic can space the floor enough at the 5 plus he is an excellent passer. Gordon should thrive as a 4th option, who is a very good passer himself.

Seems like those two would help the Warriors contend in the West for the next couple years.

I've mentioned this a few times, but I just don't think there's a significant likelihood with the impending cap drop and the crazy luxury tax bill they're facing that the Warriors are going to absorb a player using their big TPE.

Things have changed on the financial front a lot from when the Warriors got that TPE until now.

I think the Magic would almost have to take back Wiggins in any trade where they acquire the Warriors 1st round pick.

He would fit on our team. Big for a wing, very good handle, vision and passing. Great perimeter defender with quick feet. He would be one of our best ball handlers day one. ( not that this is impressive). Biggest question is shooting but he made some improvements and athletecism but he has good body control. One of my favourite picks in our range.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Never knew he existed. Looks good. Seems to have good ball control, even if his handles aren't flashy.

I need to watch more Euroleague. The commentators are so much more engaging even though I don't speak the language.

This part is what excites me the most about him....Having a secondary ball-handler that could play alongside fultz would be huge....I'm not sure about the deadline for staying in the draft for international players but i hope he stays in the draft, depending on combine/workouts he could be a riser

I think Avdija has become top of my overall big board. He's the complete package, plays both sides of the court, all of the skills, and exciting to watch. He's my early pick for ROTY of this draft class.

For some reason i keep thinking Ramsey might be the best pick but he could be gone. He's up to 16 in the latest draftnet mock and he'll probably keep rising.

Watching the Nuggets Jazz game yesterday. Ramsey can do everything that Murray and Mitchell can do.

If he works on his handle he could be really good. He's got a nice set shot and is a crazy good athlete.

He is probably one of the higher upside players that should available toward the bottom of the first round. The shooting is the worry.
I hope we could do better at 15, but all the players they want may be gone by 15. If that is the case I wouldn't mind them moving back a bit and rolling the dice twice on guys like this, maybe with Dallas, Philly, or Boston

Hes probably been my favorite realistic prospect for most the year

He brings so much of what this team lacks
Namely shooting and alpha (mamba) mentality

Top 4 at 15 for me: Ramsey, Nesmith, Hampton, Maxey.

Feel like one if not 2 of those four should be available. Will be interesting to see if there’s any pre draft workouts/interviews.

I think we need to go PG, we need someone who is going to be aggressive at becoming a dominant offensive #1. Lamelo may be someone we want to target to move up for our 1 or 2 position. I know the dad is a knuckle head, but he's got alpha in him. I surprised so many teams are reporting they prefer other guards this draft.

Weham likes long lengthy 3 & D guys. I'm hoping they don't take another PF in the draft, but the team we have now...may be the team next year until we get a change in management.
