LeBron could be traded mid season this year since he is very likely to choose his own team in the summer to join. There are reports justifying that already

LeBron has 47M this year. If lakers doesn't demand too much assets, should we put up a package to add to this young team hoping for a Post Season run?

Sounds like a not bad idea for me

So, do you think Lakers will sell Lebron cheap? His price would be too many 1st rounders.

Why? LeBron has a player option this summer and he is 39

I agree. If it is too many first rounders, I am staying away from it

But no. Lakers have no leverage on this and they just do not want Bron to walk for free

LeBron is not getting traded, and if he is, he's picking where he wants to go lol.

I think Lakers will figure they can't win a ring with him, but they can make s*** load of money during his last season parading him everywhere and having him retired in front of sold out to Hollywood celebrities- arena where tickets will be sold for millions of dollars.

if you look at nba store, he still sells most merch among all nba players ( assuming they don't rig it  ) and according to numbers, he is 3rd highest selling player ( above him only Tatum at 2# & ofc, Stepth at 1# ).

So yea, Lebron to them is worth waaaaaaaaaay more than just playing/player's value.

Raps fans would love to get their hands on WCJ to split duties at C with Poeltl.

Is there any deal to be made involving Schroeder or GTJ and picks? Schroeder has 1 year left, gives that vet floor leadership and good defensively. AB gets 1.5 years to learn from him/pick his brain. GTJ obviously would need to agree to re-sign....shooting over 40% ftom 3.

I would have ZERO interest in Schroeder unless his German teammates begged for him and pleaded that "he's not who you think" and that there was some tremendous chemistry (I doubt it, but Mo is fantastic with Franz, meh without)...I'm thinking it'd have to be a three way where assets get ORL that scoring guard they need. I like GTJ well enough, but I'd rather give Jett Howard shooter's minutes than pay for an expiring guy who's archetype has been overpaid and might not even get in Mose's rotation due to defense.

Haha go make a trade thread. Lakers think they are getting Murray for d lo and scraps, if you even mention LeBron they'll ask for Paulo, franz and multiple firsts :D

LeBron completely overlaps with Paolo. Like, wtf? They play identical roles and spots on the floor. You wanna spend all our assets for a vet? Throw everything and kitchen sink at Warriors for Curry.

While I wouldn't mind both Schroeder and GTJ, according to reports, the Magic have changed their minds on moving WCJ. As his shooting is something this team needs for Paolo and Franz. It seems like he'll be here to stay.

But if Wendell was available, I don't think the team would even need picks, if it was Schroeder and GTJ, I think the Magic think about it due to team needs.

Honestly, if that's the best deal on the table, I would do it.

Looking at the schedule it'll be interesting if they make a deal on the 6th/7th vs last minute on the 8th. Feel like we could easily call up Maclung/Howard to fill in bench spots for the 8th vs Spurs but who knows.

Last two months we've played playoff caliber teams and got smoked. I think it's pretty clear that we are good enough to make the playoffs but don't have a squad that can be expected to advance.

This isn't a revelation. We expected to compete for the play-in and get some valuable experience. So really, nothing has changed for WePark.

BUT, they must be more tempted now to make a move due to one thing, Paolo's strong ALL-STAR candidacy.

Weltman has a week to make a deal for Murray and needs to get it done. He is the best player available that can make a signiicant impact on this team. I would give up 2 1sts, a 1st round swap and Fultz for him. Worst case, give up 3 1sts as an all-star level Point guard would make this team elite within a year or two.

Id give up 3 1st round picks easily, but unfortunately i highly doubt we end up with Murray

As stated previously, the Magic's young stars need someone to take the ball out of their hands and take some of the pressure off. But Simons might take the ball out of their hands too much.

The Magic need a guard who can play a role and be aggressive when needed, not a shot-chucking ball hog who can only play one end of the floor. That part of Simons' game might be a product of playing for a tanking team the last two seasons. But is that an instinct he can turn off as a younger player?

if he's including Brogdon, Simmons & Bogi it almost feels like he knows who we're going after and is getting ahead of the curve and letting fans somewhat know don't expect xyz

“I've heard more than once this week not to discount the idea that Brooklyn big man Nic Claxton could be more available over the next seven days than previously advertised. There are mixed signals in circulation about the Nets' plans with Claxton as unrestricted free agency looms this summer.”
