"Orlando doesn't recognize that the more they wait, the more Dwight's value goes down. Dwight's side has been equally incompetent. He had a chance to call his future, he had the opportunity, but he picked up the option for another year. He gave the con to this 30 year old new GM or Devos."

Yet we're still incompetent as an organization? Not sure I understand this two speak.

I always wondered why a guy like Woj doesnt work for the big guys like ESPN, with all the scoops he gets.

But then again his sources probably would close down if he does that and he is also too smart to work for ESPN.

Magic needs to Announce the Head coach soon so Rob can address the "meeting" rumors.....can't just let Dwight's camp spread all the information.....Dwight is kinda in an advantageous position strategy wise....all he has to do is sit back and let his handlers find ways to smear the magic.....then after the damage has been done he'll put a nice bow on it and say that he was misquoted or he didn't say it but like i said by the time he refutes it the damage had been done....Dwight is playing the double edge sword game....he's hurting us and himself.....when in reality if he was smart he should of just shut his mouth and tried to facilitate a trade instead of being hostile while he's still under contract.....

At the risk of sounding corny Dwight right now is like an old band aid ready to be torn off....the scar will still be there for sure but time will heal everything....time to move on people.....

You know Henny wants nothing to do with a press conference right now. One question in and all the Dwight stuff comes up.

Rudolph calling someone incompetent is egregious in every which way. It is painfully obvious he wants to be Dwight Howard's, Windhorst. I am sure after last nights assault on ESPN, he will be get it. Also, did he even graduate high school?

i think Rob handled things well in his last press conference when asked about Dwight....i don't see him becoming scared now......Strategy wise i just don't recognize the advantage of staying quiet and not addressing anything on the Magic front while Howard's camp can basically do and say what they want....information is power these days

ESPN Radio in LA is brutal. The bias is sooooo bad. "The Orlando Magic are like a baby crying for a loli-pop."

ESPN is to the sports world what TMZ is to the real news. Whatever gives the highest ratings and is most shocking is what they ll run with.

So if the latest rumors are true, where are you going to go Dwight, because either way, you lose, especially if the Magic tell you to go to hell and play out the season. You won't get the Lakers. You won't get the Nets. The Magic I have said all along will take the cap space over garbage any day of the week. Howard can walk to whoever and lose millions.

Tony Mejia @TonyMejiaNBA
Rockets announce that Jeremy Lamb has signed his rookie deal, too. Earliest he can be traded is now officially Aug. 26.

That means no deal with Houston until at least August 26th.

ESPN is going to report what the merchandisers want them to. They do not care about all markets. They only focus on the big markets. It really is bad business. A good company seeks to maximize success in every market. They are mis managed.

If I were the Magic I would not give them what they want. They have never supported us. There is no move we can make that would earn us any respect with these people. There is nothing in it for the Magic to work with them at all. I would keep Dwight and let him walk unless we get a good deal. The you have to get something/anything-you can't let him walk for nothing=take a bad deal and like it. "Players should be able to play for who they want", well they can. It's called free agency. Until then honor the contract you signed.

Larry Ridley @mrlarryridley
D12 source tells me, #Magic have almost no chance with Dwight, but "Getting Josh Smith could help keep him in Orlando" #Orlando #NBA

Now, how do we get J-Smoove?

Based on reading the past few pages... Everything "leaked" or announced to the media seems to come from the supposed "insiders" ... that's just one side of the story. Never heard or read anything from the other side which is the magic org.

Yet people everywhere even here jumps to conclusions and believe everything what that "other" side spews.

We can't and that's why he wants to leave.
