Redick just got hosed. Redick is going to be playing behind two ball hogs in Ellis and Jennings. JJ is probably shaking his head right now in disbelief. 2nd half of the season is going to be very very long for JJ . . . Poor JJ.

LOL i would be saying the same thing if I was traded from Milwaukee... NBA players don't like playing there... have heard it multiple times from former players.

This conversation is very similar to the drafting of Drew. JJ was going to have to go if the money wasn't close, and obviously it wasn't. I already like Tobias. Seems like a Magic front office type guy. Just because these guys werent playing much doesn't mean they have no up-side. Lets give them a few minutes out there. I love the idea of more DeQuan Jones minutes.

I like the trade. It's just really sad seeing JJ go and the Magic didn't want or like the chance to re-sign him too.

Advanced stats really loved Doron Lamb. Like that Bucks fan said, his shooting wasn't falling in MIL but his college career stats indicate its a serious fluke so far. He and Harris got NBA bodies but both may be needing work to defend better. What I like is inserting Lamb and Moore into spots and plays like JJ had to shoot and play off of. Lamb supposedly loves off screen/off ball action and has a nice handle. I'm pumped to see what he can do over time.

Tobias Harris is a big coup, the secured pick offers were 20's in a weak draft (from Woj) which is why I wanted to resign JJ and put him in new trade talks down the road (but with the danger of him as a UFA). Harris seriously upgrades our SF spot with Harkless. He looks more offensively polished than Harkless too, but I see Harkless having more potential because of his defense and athleticism. Harris still looks to have a lot of potential, he's very young for what he's done so far in the NBA. It's a great way to scout a prospect with NBA games played instead of college conferences, watching 20-30's range draft prospects in various settings. I def see Chandler Parson like success and role for Harris if he keeps developing his weaknesses.

Okay I'm lost. Why did we trade McBob for Hakim if we are cutting him?

Why not just cut McBob?

Is he really that much more valuable as a FA to go to any team than Hakim is???
