Anyone else notice McLemore not starting? Do you think he's the type to be influenced negatively by not starting when I'm sure he thinks he should?

I don't think he'll mind. I'm surprised Salmons started, will wait till the season starts to see who they start, they appear to be a mess right now and should just start McLemore to help him develop faster.

The Dallas/New Orleans game isn't televised but they are showing the jumbo-tron feed with the radio commentators on NBA League Pass. A good sign.

That's good to hear, I've been really hoping we will get some kind of stream so we can watch it. So annoying that Fox Sports doesn't just broadcast it. It may be a preseason game but I bet it would still get better ratings than whatever they will show instead.

Speaking of jumbo-tron feeds, are the Magic not doing their open practice this year? Normally they do a practice that people can go to and they have a live stream of the jumbo-tron feed on orlandomagic.com.

I've always really liked Ryan and it is heartbreaking to see him go through something like this. I can't even imagine how tough it's been for him. I really hope reporters don't keep asking him about it throughout the season. If he wants to talk about it and her foundation than that's of course fine, but I'll hate to see reporters after every game asking him questions about it, so hopefully they will be respectful.

lol what? McLemore is a good talent, but better than Cousins, not even close! You're probably just joking, or at least I hope you were. For one, McLemore hasn't even played an NBA regular season game yet, so we don't even know how good he'll be. I'm sure he's going to do just fine in the league, but we are talking about one of the best young big men in the game in Cousins, no way McLemore is better than him. Maybe in the future he will be, but not now. Just because Cousin is a nut job doesn't mean he isn't very talented.

He may have issues, no one is going to argue with you on that one but I wouldn't say he blows. He's actually kind of good and if trained by the right people to get his head straight and hone is craft, he could be nasty.

I think McLemore will be a guy that everybody calls a bust for like five years, but then he gets traded or leaves as an unrestricted and then just explodes on the scene.

While it may have been a bit of an overstatement, you guys are seriously overrating cousins.
A 6-11 260 big who shoots below 50 percent from the field, whose team is better both offensively and defensively with him off the court, who routinely settles for a mid range jumper where he shoots 33 percent from and is annually one of the worst pnr defenders in the league is not what you want to call a best player.

Mclemore may not get the chance in Sacramento(unless Vasquez can help him) but I'am believing the Ray Allen comps for right now. He's the only player on their team who has any idea what a good shot is: All his shots are from the 3 or takes it to the basket i.e. all good looks. Everybody else on their team is turnover prone and loves contested 20 footers...

Cousins has GLARING flaws that he's been unable to fix in his years in the nba. What is troubling is that his flaws are most certainly things you can fix, it's not like we're asking Steve Novak to create his own shot, instead we're simply asking him to stop bailing out the defense with 18 footers where he's pretty innaccurate, and to stop being the worst pnr defender in the L. His team is worse on both ends with him in the game.

Mclemore could be contributor to a championship team, I'am not sure Cousins can.

Taking into consideration that Grevis is not a bad point guard, I think that Mclemore might get some significant burn and do fairly well. I think Sacramento will drop the ball and just continue to either lose their talent via trades and free agency markets or fall short of developing their core. I can see McLemore doing well and then leaving in free agency.
