Yeah. Otis is not perfect, but a lot of the crap he takes are unwarranted. People act as if he spent today sleeping in and then watch old Andy Griffith reruns.

Otis built a title contender in Orlando. He went all in on this team a few years ago, crapping out our cap space. There was no way he could have known then that the NBA would lose it'sa damn mind and superteams would start popping up out of the woodwork. Was every move perfect? Of course not. But, he had us like 2 games from a title and most of the moves he made that killed our cap space now are moves that were met with happiness by most of the fanbase at the time.

I was with him until this summer. Duhon and Qrich !!!??? Those deals are the death of us IMO. on the bench and hard to move. I can understand the thought process of Gilbert, but signing those two!?

Chris Paul and Dwight Howard being mentioned on ESPN right now... not pretty

This is true, but look at the mess he has currently put us in.

I know, but he had no way of knowing that something unprecidented would happen in Miami that would change the entire league. You can not blame a GM for not knowing the future.

You know it.

Thing is there isn't even a mention of the Magic involved in anything (at least on a national level).

Damn, even Charlotte is being mentioned as being active w/ Portland:

Gerald Wallace for Greg Oden + filler.

I'd actually like to get Corey Brewer if NY is shopping him.

Didn't he get traded to Golden State? did I miss something?

Yea, but he's likely to get bought out.

Chris saying, if you're Orlando and you're trying to keep Dwight Howard, you need to get Chris Paul... but then goes on to say it's unlikely, and that LA should send Bynum and players for Dwight

Also the others mentioned how Deron and Dwight talked a lot about playing together, and with Deron in NJ, that plan is out the door, unless Dwight leaves to join him in NJ

Just depressing... made even worse by that stupid "deadline time clock ticker" at the bottom of the screen... and knowing that Otis isn't going to do anything

Zach McCann:
I don't think the Magic would have any interest in Brewer. He's nowhere near the offensive player Turk is, and he's not much better of a defender if at all.

WojYahooNBA:
Cavaliers are down to wire taking bids on Anthony Parker, with Boston still in the mix. [via Twitter]

Otis likes this team so much he wants to take it behind the bleachers and get it pregnant.

I mean, how unlikely is it that Deron comes here? Couldn't we spend all this summer dumping contracts to be able to sign Deron for a little bit less so he can play with Dwight? But of course, since I dream about it, it will never ever happen.

[Comment From Jose Pimentel-Celi Jose Pimentel-Celi: ]
Can the Magic trade the rights for Vazquez to say Memphis? along with other players for Z Bo?
Thursday February 24, 2011 2:15 Jose Pimentel-Celi

Zach McCann:
It's not like the Magic are chomping at the bit to trade for Randolph. No offer has been made.

IF the Magic are forced to renegotiate J. Rich this summer (I hope not, like to get rid of him now), then the trade for Deron or CP3 can only be made up of 4 players. Bass/Redick/Nelson/J. Rich (or player we trade him for). I don't think that gets CP3 or Dwill.

Off to go wash my car, when I get back, we better have acquired Travis Diener, Courtney Lee, Marcin Gortat and Shane Battier.

Instead, come back to find out Celtics traded Perkins for Green and Kristic. Boston just lost their best defender vs Dwight.
