So this is where the Dwight to NJ rumor surfaced. It's fascinating to see the timeline develop. While we thought it was some LA thing with Paul, turns out the rumor about Dwight to NJ was picked up somehow at this meeting last night.

he can still play SF - we just need two Guards who can shoot real well then
Gotcha, I'm assuming you are talking about JSmith playing SF.
Yeah, I read somewhere that he lost 35 pounds, which would probably put him at around 215 (I'm guessing). I think he's planning on playing SF.

Looks a lot smaller.

Thanks to whomever dropped the dime on this....at least we found out BEFORE a trade happened.

He aint seen nothing yet if its confirmed he met with NJ like multiple sources are saying he did. He might have to abandon his twitter account.

We all need to be adults here, don't go blow up and spam Dwight's twitter.

You guys see Rudolph pleading with Magic fans to stop tweeting Dwight because he's getting pissed? Haah.

One thing is for sure. The two "nice" guys of the league are looking like complete and utter douche bags over the last few days. It is making the NBA look really bad right now.

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part II)
CP3 and Dwight failed miserably... they are never going to be looked at the same way again
David Stern needs to re-sign, his power has diminished, and his BS tactic was called out nationally... by owners, fans, and reporters
I don't know if NOH (no owner) will be in trouble. NJ and LA will definitely be hurting though! Houston could also be investigated.

I agree. He's got fans from every other team tweeting him telling him how much the love him and want him there, while morons from our own fanbase send him abuse and try to pressure him. How much influence it might actually have is debatable, but it's sure not going to help.

Nets closing in on Nene.
If the league and Magic successfully file tampering charges on the Nets, I'd go on a limb and say the NBA will temporarily suspend signings and trades to/from the Nets until a resolution is reached.
