Found this on TrueBlue:

It's blatantly obvious how mental and delusional Dwight is. I sit close enough at the games to see and hear all of the court talk. I've sat in the same seats since he was a rookie and have seen him morph into who he is today, and it has become scary/sad. It started in the 2008 season with the eye rolls when Van Gundy didn't call his number in the 4th quarter, even though the play would be successful and we would win. He can't restrain himself and focus more than 10 seconds (except when he is shooting free throws). I've seen him almost go into the stands because 1 fan was calling him a bum, after the Game 1 loss to the Sixers in '09, literally being held back from pulling an Artest.

He thinks he knows it all, and blames Otis (I'm not sticking up for Otis). I know for a fact that Dwight went to Otis and Van Gundy in the Finals and demanded that Jameer play because that was his brother. Then last year I could see him boiling on the court at Vince, Rashard, Gortat and JJ anytime they made the slightest mistake. He would complain to them the same way he would at the refs. So, we got rid of the bums for him. Gil was a player that Dwight wanted, and we got him. Its easy to go behind the scenes and demand certain moves and then when they don't work out, say "I want out, they haven't done what I wanted." After a couple of weeks, even during win streaks, he would be yelling at Gil, Turk, and Richardson because things weren't going his way.

This year is an absolute joke and Van Gundy, and the rest of the team (up until this past week) should be given a medal for putting up with him. Dwight goes to the media and cries that Van Gundy needs to be nicer, and now he is this new born leader and knows what it takes to win. Then, our first home game this year I could hear the awful, cancer creating jabs he would say to his teammates. "Give me the ****ing ball man, geez," "stop shootin so much," "come on man, I don't care if you were open." Etc. He has and always will be the negative guy on the floor. Complaining non stop. It is cancerous and distracting.

So we should be happy that he is going to leave the team. We will finally be able to become a real team again. Wherever Dwight goes, it will only be a matter of time before he starts to complain again, and act like he knows everything.

Now, it is from a newbie poster, but it sounds awfully detailed and specific to be completely made up.

Now, I have to admit, these trades make a lot more sense in that light.

Otis is still to blame for actually doing it, but we did hear reports from David Aldridge that Dwight was "Consulted and approved" of those trades last December. It would make sense.

And there are people still defending Dwights demeanor. The sooner you realize what it really is, the easier it will be to come to terms with it.

^^ He needs to go ASAP. He thinks he is bigger than the franchise now and does not care how his comments hurts the chemistry of the team. He forgot what made him so dominant and likable by focusing on defense and rebounding first. It's a damn shame really.

Ok, this is strange. 3 guys on the Nets go town with foot injuries. Lopez, James, and now Marshon Brooks, all done.

http://newyork.sbnation.com/new-jersey- ... broken-toe

3 guys said to be in the Dwight Howard trade, all injured and likely done for the season.

Sucks to hear about Brooks injury. I really like the guy. He's the only reason I would ever do a deal with the Nets... I'd rather have Blake/Jordan though... or Bynum/Gasol. ... but yeah, it's very strange and coincidental that all 3 guys (rumored to be traded) became injured at some point.

How about 3-way trade with NOLA and GSW? I know Kaman is on the block and the Warriors want a center. David Lee also expressed concern over whether the organization could keep Ellis and Curry together.

How's this trade?

Chi has one of the few coaches who can keep Dwight in check.

Well thats just fan flippin tasic. For the love of all that is Bueno do not trade for Bynum/Gasol I really dont think we'll be able to do much with them considering they cant win with Kobe Freaking Bryant.

*migraine* lol I was hoping we would flip Gasol for other players (get a 3rd team involved, like Utah, Memphis, Houston, etc. Teams that have shown interest in Gasol.). I've made that known in countless other posts. That's why I would take Bynum/Gasol over the Bulls' package. And I love all that is Bueno, which is why I would never do a Chicago deal haha.

At the end of the day, I want Howard to be moved... he isn't staying, and I want to start a new chapter with the Magic and rebuild... and that's not up for debate with me if you disagree with that opinion. I don't have the energy for it.

The big daddy of all big daddy trades:

http://basketball.realgm.com/tradecheck ... de/6010425

Monta/Duhon
JRich/Wafer
Jsmoov/Q
Lee/Earl
Bynum/BBD

Capable of tons of offense or tons of defense if you want. Lots of athleticism and finesse. Amazing rebounding team, good passers.

Works well for all teams involved imo.

MAGIC:
Get to completely rebuild with amazingly complementary pieces, get a fantastic PG and arguably 2nd best big in game, almost all-star caliber SF and PF guys.

ATL:
Get out from Joe Johnson contract, get a legit C in Pau to move Al to the PF spot, replace Johnson with JJ on much cheaper deal, replace JSmoov with Wright on much cheaper deal (also helps to be able to sell the team, similar to the New Orleans moves). No more lengthy insane contracts

GSW:
Get a big in Zaza, who has shown he can hold his own even against a guy like Dwight, replace Lee with Ryan (very similar players, Ryan cheaper and younger), replace Monta with Joe Johnson, who is a bigger guy at the 2, can play the 3, longer (better defense), probably a better fit in their system with Curry than Monta is. I know everyone is gonna say NOBODY wants that Johnson contract, but if anybody wants to spend, it's GSW ownership...they are looking to turn this thing around, they have money, they are very profitable regardless. Johnson could easily become a 22-7-4 type guy in that system with Curry at the point. Monta is too short for them at the 2. Could also play Thompson at 2 and Johnson at 3 if need to. A lineup of Curry/Thompson/Johnson/Ryno/Zaza is probably better than what they have now.

LAKERS:
Get their superstar of future in Dwight to pair with Kobe, keeps Lakers extremely relevant, gives them a PG in Jameer who will probably step back up his play knowing he is still with Dwight, in a good situation. They can get a starting SF (badly needed for them) in Hedo, who plays very well with Dwight, or they could shift Hedo to the PF spot.

Colin Cowherd got him a little earlier......saying that Orlando has to be a top 10 destination (Tax-free state, Beautiful city, incredible arena, etc....) and he doesn't understand why he wants to leave.

This trade could be done today:

NOH/GSW/ORL:

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=7syc3eb

Unfortunately, looks like NOH is ready to deal Kaman now, not sure if they'll wait till March when we can add other guys to the trade. If they wanted Ryan, he'd have to be bundled with Clark, Hughes, and Q-Rich to get salary high enough.

Blake the Flake Griffin?

Still a good deal, but the Clippers love, and I mean LOVE their human highlight flopping reel. He will never be available.

I don't think GSW would do that trade unfortunately. I would do that in a heartbeat if I were the Magic.

I don't like the Chicago trade for the pure reason that we don't get a good guard back. We are stuck in the EXACT same situation we are now - nobody who can create for others. I mean, between Jameer, Duhon, JRich and JJ, we have really nobody. Unless we can flip one of the Chicago guys for a good guard, I don't want it. That being said, I LOVE Deng and Noah and think they are very underrated players (there is a reason why Chicago had the best record in the league with those guys combined with Rose). I honestly think if you put a guy like Monta next to those guys you get a very similar team to the Bulls. They are perfect complementary players to an aggressive guard like Monta/Rose. Deng is an amazing wing defender, and Noah is one of the better big defenders (as well as athletic, a great rebounder, and a great passer). I only want the Chicago pieces if we can somehow pair them with a great guard, but I'm not sure we can do that.

But let's not forget guys....this is all up to God, and whether or not he wants Dwight in Chicago................

Very well said. I would definitely do a Chicago trade if we can flip players for a good perimeter scorer or a guard. Maybe move Nelson and/or J-Rich at the deadline as well in a separate deal? As long as we get picks in return, we'll be good. Play Harper and Liggins and start a youth movement to finish out the season imo.

Out of curiosity, why is this a BAD thing for all of you guys on the rebuild and tank and get picks bandwagon??? Isn't this an amazing blessing in disguise for that realm of thought?? Shouldn't they be MORE willing to trade them to us now that they are injured (none of them seem like career ending injuries), and then shouldn't THEIR picks be better (since these guys won't be playing as much), and then won't OUR pick be better since we won't have them healthy to play either? I'm just confused as to why this is a bad thing if that's your plan of attack (to rebuild by tanking). It's not like we would be remotely competitive this year with those guys anyways...
