If Dwight goes to LA, this team and league are dead to me. Not kidding.

Should have taken it when it was available. But we probably held out for Gasol. Bad move, because I doubt Lakers would be willing to take Howard for what is now almost a certainty would only be half a season and then he signs with the Nets.

Maybe, , but could still happen. Lakers are under a lot of pressure to make a big move too.

I hope you are right.

However, verified information from Dwight himself and the FO clearly points out that we are trying to upgrade the talent, so I'm still strapped in!

yay for optimism

Not really, most Laker fans would be happy with Sessions and Beasley. We suck on the road cause our bench sucks and Fisher sucks. Beasley would give us scoring off the bench and Sessions is better then Fisher

Man, this is great.

Can't wait for the Fans here to flip out when nothing happens at the trade deadline. It is going to be all doom and gloom here.

I have been getting a kick out of all this the past few days. This is just too hilarious. As if the Magic could do 95% of the trades posted here. Just not going to happen. Thursday is going to pass quietly from the Magic and Dwight as they both smile inside the Amway center but plenty of noise from everyone else.

things are so hectic right now, multiple conflicting reports, some even in the same report. I just dont know who to believe at this point, but my gut is telling me that the magic fo are being pushed into the corner by dwight and his people.

new york basketball is the knicks. nets have to have two dozen winning seasons and a couple of championsips to be in the discussion. new arena and two stolen stars would not make up for the culture and legacy.

New York basketball was the Knicks because there was no other NY team. It's ridiculous to think that a city that houses 2 MLB teams, 2 NHL teams and 2 NFL (they play in NJ though) teams won't have a rapid die hard fanbase eventually.

Hell ONE playoff win right now would be better than the Knicks have done in over a decade. It won't be hard to get new fans if they have Deron & Dwight. We are all die hards, which is why we post here, but that is not the majority of fans. Majority are casual basketball fans or entertainment seekers. There will be lots of entertainment in Brooklyn.

you are not getting it.

Talked w/ Monta today. During convo, I said he had 2 yrs left after this year. He quickly corrected me: "One year left" ... Story coming

I've been all for keeping Dwight, but the way this is going down..smh. A franchise should never succumb to a player like this. It's humiliating, why are we giving Dwight this grandoise idea of his importance. Fine, you're the most dominant big guy in the league, and if you wanna leave there's the door....Good Riddance. This guy is humilating our franchise, and making us look so desperate and dependent upon him. Get OUTTA here!

Yea but I dont see ATL moving a 2 time allstar C and Smith for Howard rental, at least with GSW their owner is dumb enough to give us decent value and take on bad contracts

He should just demand a trade to ORL.
