I have to be honest, and I'm probably in the minority here. But if Dwight said he wanted to patch things up tomrrow, and stay...I'd still want to move him and begin a rebuild.

I have way too much anymosity towards him now, and while I want to win...I also want guys with character playing for my hometown team. I don't want douchehats leading the way.

I'm one of the few fans who think integrity and character should actually be just a step ahead of winning.

I agree in general, but isn't forgiveness a part of good character? My problem would be believing he wouldn't pull something else two years down the road or whatever, but if I thought he was sincere then i could move past it.

That's also part of it. I don't think I could buy into him being sincere, because I believed he was sincere for the first 5-6 years he was in the league. I just wouldn't trust his word. I'm just ready to move on, and get the best deal we can get.

If he'll extend, I would keep him. Henny then puts us in position for 2013 or 2014 free agency. He's still a much better building block than anything else we can get in a trade.

I am not real sure if I would not just rather trade him than have him extend(d12) I am worried about him having major back surgery and that affecting his athleticism.

Reminds me of the movie Hall Pass. Where the married guys want to bang everything but their wives - get a whiff of freedom - and then come crawling back with their tails between their legs.

Having said that... ain't gonna happen.

So in keeping with the analogy here, could these latest rumors about a Nets deal falling apart be described as: "Dwight Howard just fake chowed Brooklyn!" ? 8-)

If Rob is really worried about Bynum not extending,I think Orl should go ahead with a £ way trade with LAL and Hou

With D12+few bad contract from orl going to LAL
With Bynum + Few bad contract from ORL going to Houston
Kevin martin+youth+ many 1st from Hou+1 1st from LAL going to ORL
Suggs, AB, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, TDS , Jett

With the Cavs having second thoughts about three-team deal, the Magic and Nets are discussing a simpler two-team trade, according to source.

If Dwight Howard isn't traded to the Nets, the Cleveland Cavaliers could receive a rousing ovation when they play in Orl.

The Lakers traded their 1st round pucks to the Suns in the Nash deal.

Gasol isn't on the trade block anymore, and I seriously doubt they would trade Gasol for Scola and Duhon. The trade will probable have Bynum going to Houston, picks and rookies coming back here.

That's a risk admittedly. We need Spinedoc or a physician to comment on that.

LMFAO @ us doing a two team deal with the Nets. How does that work? They get Howard, don't take back even one of our multi-year deals, and we take Lopez on a max deal + filler + several late first round picks? Hahahahaha.

Yeah, that's not happening. And if anyone believes we would do that, I have some oceanfront property in Nebraska I'd like to sell you.
