With Kendrick Perkins out, one of - Cole Aldrich, Daniel Orton, or Hasheem Thabeet will start. Hmm.

Nick Collison?

They could even put Serge Ibaka at C. Plenty of things they could do.

damn man i came across this vid by accident but i'll tell you what at one time Glen Davis was in REALLY good shape......

What happened? when did he just blow up? i believe that was his rookie year? IDK but man i wish he was in that kind of shape right now.....i would think that a player like him would be better a bit lighter on his feet.....

Josh Robbins ‏@JoshuaBRobbins
Jacque Vaughn said he won't start the same 5 players Thursday against the 76ers. He wants to vary things a bit.

Josh Robbins ‏@JoshuaBRobbins
It's unclear whether Arron Afflalo will play Thurs. Team officials want to give his left hammy a chance to heal.

Josh Robbins ‏@JoshuaBRobbins
Afflalo, Eyenga, Harrington, Harkless and Smith did not practice today, as expected.

John Denton ‏@JohnDenton555
#Magic coach Jacque Vaughn said starting 5 for Thurs game vs #76ers will be different. Not official, but my guess is Nik Vucevic at center.

John Denton ‏@JohnDenton555
Backup PG Armon Johnson has caught #Magic coaches eyes with his willingness to compete every day in practice. May have a shot to make roster

Well... they can't all make the freaking roster... when is the deadline for making roster cuts again?

I don't see how Johnson makes the team UNLESS they plan on moving JJ (which is likely given that he's a good sg on an expiring contract).

Don't worry. Given the nature of this board, Johnson is 1 good preseason game away from people saying he needs to start and we should make him the center piece of our rebuild.

It's unfair to judge whether a player should be cut or not based on 1 pre-season game. Let's see how the rest go. It's plausible that he had a bad game and has actually been doing well in practice.

Magic signee Chris Johnson lived in Orlando until he was 14, then moved to Columbus. Mother lives in O-Town.

Chris Johnson finished up one of the best careers ever in a Dayton uniform and in the NCAA over the last 20 years. The versatile forward is the only college basketball player in the last 20 seasons to have 1,400 points, 800 rebounds, 300 offensive rebounds and 200 three-pointers while shooting at least 80% from the line.

Johnson played in 138 career games for the Flyers, which is the most in the program’s history. He scored a total of 1,467 points to place him 21st in at UD. He ranks fifth on Dayton’s all-time list for three-pointers made (236) and free throw accuracy (.829, 295-of-356). Johnson is also 11th in career rebounding (846) and ranks fourth in career offensive rebounds (312). He averaged 10.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game for his career.

Johnson was the 2010 NIT Most Valuable Player and was a four-time Atlantic 10 honoree during his career. He was on the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team as a freshman.

I think we've seen all we need from this roster in the 1 preseason game. I'll be shocked if any of them make the final roster.

Great value here. Props to Henny for not wasting a 1st round pick on him in this year's draft.

I disagree. VGOSWAMI has a point, it's just one preseason game. There is still time for talents to improve and have good outings in games (and on the flipside, there is still time for talents to have bad outings as well). Things can happen/change. This is still training camp/preseason time, and it's early. This is where the coaching staff makes their assessment and evaluations of each talent. Making decisions after a few scrimmages in training camp and after one preseason game seems a bit hasty. The Magic should at least wait until a few more games and practices are played during the next couple weeks before making any final decisions imo, which I'm sure they will.

I was being sarcastic that not 1 player currently will make the roster. I agree with both of you that it's too early to judge.
