Gms are guessing alot in this range.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

Pretty underwhelmed but not without hope.

Damn.

How about to the season? Franz was terrible in summer league and Suggs was good.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Yea because rookies at 6 and 11 were really going to make the Magic that much better. Are people suddenly new to the NBA?

Yes. Which is why I said snap judgement.

Really gotta give them the Suggs leash.

It just seems when these draft picks feel like giant reaches on draft night, they almost never work out.

Okeke felt like a giant reach, and it's been bad.

They have hit on the last two, so I'll give them the benefit here.

I don't know any of the players this year in the draft but with the #6 it sounds like we got a tall pg that can defend but can't shoot... great we have collected all of them now. With the 11th we got a shooter so I'm happy with it and won't take much to be better than Bamba who wasn't 11th.

it's because people decide to become man fans instead of the team fans....so when they pass up on someone they want they jump out the window.....we needed shooting....he's more than adequate there

I kinda disagree, there are players perceived as better than Jett that can shoot, for example Dick, that is why people are upset. Most mocks had Jett going in late in the first round.

This is a way bigger reach than Franz, Franz was mocked around 9 to 11. I'm pretty sure I mentioned him as my prediction for the exact pick he went in during the day leading up to the draft.

And I had Jett 21st on my big board and 19th in my mock draft, that's higher than most. But I never even considered the Magic going there at #11, imo it's a big talent drop off.

The "trade back" stuff kills me. This isn't the NFL draft.

There have been two trade backs so far tonight. Indiana went back one spot. Dallas went back two spots.

Jett might have been there at like 18 or 19 or whatever, but those teams maybe didn't want to come up and the Magic clearly evaluated Howard high enough to where they weren't willing to risk moving back too far.

Black Dick would have changed realGM forever. Legendary thread topics would have emerged, great posts would have been shared.

Black Dick could have been revolutionary.
