RealGM has a rule in place requiring 100 page threads be locked. Something to do with it being TOO EPIC for the servers.

ok..............I was about to say that the mod that locked the CP3 thread needs to get laid............by a girl. However if its some new rule I will let it slide bc I was about to post:

what position will chris paul play if we trade for him? and who will play center?

that I am torn on the second trade bc we know what we have with Jameer, with Collinson I think he has the higher ceiling but ceilings are made to cave in. However sice I would trade VC for a bag of donuts and David West is alot better than a bag of donuts I like,,,,but then he willmost likely leave the following season so its a one year rental andI'm not sure its puts us over the top for that one year.

Chris Paul would play point guard (where else would he play) and Dwight Howard would play center. they are both the best at their positions imo

I can't possibly make it through all 100 pages of part one of this thread... Can somebody provide the cliff's notes on the rumors? Is there anything more than the fanhouse stuff that's mentioned in the first few pages of that thread?

Otis Smith met with Chris Paul in France. They went back in time to Paul's parents' high school, Okafor told Paul to make like a tree and get out of here, Paul told Okafor that he had to go with him.

And then they went back to the future, which is now. And it's part 2 and Otis Smith took Paul to the REAL future and showed him how screwed up his life would be if he didn't join the Magic.

the cliff notes version:

1. a bunch of people on twitter are saying that there are a lot of rumors that point to the possibility that maybe otis is perhaps talking to someone about something really big and that it might almost certainly happen at some undisclosed time in the future. or not. stay tuned.

2. skin is mad jokes

3. reverend ty can't give us any more information because otis is furious about the number of leaks that have been getting out. oh yeah, he also has to drive a bunch of school kids somewhere really far away and won't be available for lord knows how long.

4. the chris paul trade isn't going to happen. lawl.

I hate to be the party pooper, but if Paul deal was being discussed with all the "leaks" making there way to Ozone and real gm and twitter...some major news outlet would have taken a chance by now. Both teams have probably set the record straight to the media. I'm starting to believe Chris Paul was never on the table in any deal. The Hornets were probably just gauging interest to see what they could get if they decided to blow the team up at some point.

that only works bc Redick will simultaneously be playing all 5 positions at the same time...he this that good

on another thought, if we do somehow get paul we can maybe turn around and offer both cp3 and d12 for Diener straight up (green font bc we all know whoever the new trailblazers gm is would just laugh at us) but maybe he will be eager to put his stamp on the team and make a stupid rookie gm move like that

this is not happening

It's increasing the number of people joining the thread and asking about posting cliff notes because they don't want to go through and read the 100 page thread. Perhaps we should designate someone to compile the updates and post them every 5 pages or so.
