Well if he does come over and is solid, this would mean we could trade Gortat for something good.

6'11 230 lbs... awesome. fran would be a considerable upgrade over malik allen as the team's designated pine rider and towel waver.

Id really love it if Fran did end up playing for us. He could step right in and have an immediate impact for us. At some point I think he would be the guy to take over at the 4 and move Shard to the 3. However with Fran we seem to here this every offseason, so Im not counting on it.

I think some people are still underrating Fran .. He's a great player, much better than some people here think. And I've watched lotta games of him so no I'm not forgetting green font here

Good point, I'm sure they could offer him much more than a rookie scale contract, as well.
I hope the Spanish club calls his bluff, too.

i'd like to see him here, but i'd also like to see him screwed over a bit. perhaps trade him to Minnesota or something?
