Give the The Most Interesting Man in the World some love!!!!
Absolutely fell in love with his play tonight. Have a great feeling about him in our future plans.
What a STEAL Otis!!!! No wonder we gave up our 2011 First Rounder. Clark is soooooooooo much better! His impact in this deal has gone way under the radar. Our PF position is set between Bass, Clark and Anderson. Someday, Clark will be our starting PF. That's the feeling I have about him right now. I saw a lot of positive flashes... 18 foot jumper, check. Passing, check. Athleticism, check. Hustle and Energy, check. Defense, check... even though he needed to get back on help defense, he still hasn't learned Stan's schemes yet. Much more to come, I'm sure. Very exciting time to be a Magic fan!

The guy is an amazing talent... he can play SF, PF, and C (3 in 1 talent)... has handles, size, and passing abilities (Lamar Odom comparisons are spot on at times) and he's a terrific one-on-one defender... he needs help on rotating on defense and when to switch during PNR, but practice should iron out those details... dude will be an x-factor for us down the line for sure

He's here to kick ass and serve Gatorade. And we're all out of Gatorade.

Earl Clark is the bee's knees. Literally the bee's knees.

was this a John Carpenter's "They Live" reference, where the main character says, "I'm here to kick as and chew bubble gum... and I'm all out of bubble gum." ?????

Sometimes that's all it takes for some people...
And you can include me as one of those people. He was very productive in the short minutes that he was on the floor and the kid was not nervous at all. He calmly drained that 18 footer like he has been playing with us for years. Like Skin said, I can see why we gave up our first rounder for this kid, because I do believe he can help us and like DJRajX said, we have a guy that can play multiple positions for us. It is true that we need to see if he can sustain that type of play which is why I am very excited about seeing him play on Thursday and on Christmas.

SVG gave him a fist bump if that means anything. He didn't an excellent job on dirk man to man. He also played hard against dirk with the suns this season. Meaning this has happened before in a short span of time.
His defense will get better but for him to take off he is going to have to play and learn threw expierence. I would love for him to back up Hedo, with Arenas on the floor to create.
Nelson, Arenas
Richardson, Redick
Turk, Clark
Anderson, Bass
Howard, (someone not named malik allen)

As long as the kid brings it in practice SVG will notice much like he did with C Lee a few years ago. Hopefully this time we wont trade that guy away. But at least we got Ryan Anderson out of the deal which makes it a wash.
2008 draft: 21st pick Clee ended up with Ryan Anderson 20th pick overall
2009 draft: traded away to memphis 28th pick, Ended up with Earl Clark 14th pick
2010 draft: Daniel Orton, ended up with?
Who says Otis doesnt trade up in the draft?

Earl just never got the minutes in PHX, even when he played well - nobody had anything but good to say about him, just a crappy deal. I'm sure we'll regret dealing him. Hope he has a great career with you guys

Love the kid, love the effort, love what he brings. Now, just a work-out regimen this coming offseason. Then wah-lah! Dwight has a frontcourt pal for the next decade.
He'll definately start getting it. He was the "shoe-in" just like Ryan was haha
Anyhow, definately love the deal and gives us options. At the end of the day with (Bass, Ryno, and Earl) they all bring a different dynamic to the game. It's going to be real fun seeing all 3 of those guys develop while trying to fight for PT as well as the 4 spot.
In a week or two Otis will come out and say Clark was the "deal breaker", especially if it came to cash & a pick.

I doubt he\ll be effective guarding big PFs ala Boozer - just not strong enough but against mobile jump shot oriented bigs like Barniani he could be better option that Bass or Ryno. Dirk had a hand in his face on every J last night.
