THE Trade Deadline Thread

There's bound to be a lot of talk about potential trades and finalized deals leading up to the deadline on February 24, so why not have a single thread for all that talk?
To kick things off, I'll start by point out that I think the Houston Rockets could make a good trading partner for the Magic. Not only are they in the Western Conference (always helpful for us), they're outside of the playoff picture, Adelman has taking this team as far as they can go currently constructed without Yao, and they may wish to lose some salary heading into this summer's CBA negotiations. They also happen to have a few players that I could see the Magic being seriously interested in, such as:
Kevin Martin, 3 years, $10.6m, PER 22.6
Brad Miller, 3 years, $4.4m, PER 17.0
Luis Scola, 5 years, $7.8m, PER 18.9
Courtney Lee, 2 years, $1.4m, PER 12.8
Shane Battier, 1 year, $7.4m, PER 13.1
Perhaps the most coveted player of them all for Orlando would be Brad Miller since he could back up Dwight at the center position. The only problem would be that trading Miller away would leave Houston with only one [undersized] center so we would likely need to bring in a 3rd team or find a 5 for the Rockets to pick up off waivers.
Ideally we could trade JRich (and Orton) for KMart and Brad Miller but I doubt Houston would bite on that unless we sweetened the deal. That said, there are lots of combinations of trades we could work out with the Rockets to help improve our team so IF we make a move I wouldn't be surprised to see us deal with them.

Portland is looking to move Pryzbilla, any way we can get them to join as third team?
Rockets could replace Miller with Pryzbilla, Magic could send J Rich plus Orton and or Anderson, Martin and Miller to Orlando, Orton or Anderson plus picks to Portland. J Rich and Pryzbilla to Houston. Something like that.

Unless we are getting perimeter help on D these trades don't make any sense. Otis is not going to panic on a backup "C". Murphy will be getting buyout soon.

I love this time, I'd be disappointed if we don't do a trade.

LOL if that happens Otis would be voted the GM of the year by default for the next 10 years. Even if he did not deserve it.

Thabeet goes on? they'd probably want bass or anderson since they don't want to re-sign Zbo.

We're still interested in Troy Murphy when he gets bought out:
Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo Sports wrote:Nets coach Avery Johnson made clear he didn’t want Murphy after the three-team trade that brought him from the Indiana Pacers. Trade talks have gone nowhere for Murphy, who has an expiring contract. Nets GM Billy King will ultimately work a buyout to free Murphy to sign elsewhere.
In addition to the Hornets, several other teams are expected to show interest in Murphy, including the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic and Dallas Mavericks, sources said
I can't really see how Boston or Miami could actually use him, that would probably be to prevent him from joining another contender ..
Though I'd like Dalembert more, Murphy would be ok

I'd rather we go for a center, but I wont mind him at all.
